I've had this now for a while. I find it easy to use, inexpensive, accurate (I've compared it to readings from doctor's offices) and consistent in its results. It is so easy to put on the arm wrap - you can hardly go wrong.I recommend this product (end of review) -Stop readingBut I also have to say (rant)how unhappy I was with some one of the most widely known products of this nature. It would work sometimes and then sometimes it would give me an error message. Lately it has given me a lot more error messages. The messages would usually say I had not applied the arm band correctly. Maybe it was too loose? Too tight? Too high? Too low? Occasionally it would state I had no blood pressure (presumed dead).I started to ding myself (why can't I follow simple directions?). Surely this was my fault.Then I thought about it for a while - I've followed directions on items more complicated than this. I'm not an idiot.Or perhaps I am - I kept thinking the problem was my problem - just not putting on the arm band correctly.The problem is the monitor itself.If it's that tricky then the problem isn't the consumer - it's the product.So I would suggest to anyone reading this who is monitoring their own blood pressure, that in order to take your blood pressure (and also not elevate your own from sheer frustration) that you avoid the main seller.Just get this one instead.Works, cheap, simple, accurate.

This BP machine is a nice small size and I was able to put the cuff on relatively easily.I also purchased an “Omron Platinum Blood Pressure Monitor“ at the same time for $72 compared to $30 for this one). I alternated between the two to see if they were consistent. There was a little variation between the readings but not enough to be concerning. However this cuff was uncomfortable and caused tingling in my fingers while the other one did not. It also took longer to get the reading. The Omron cuff was slightly easier to get on/off as well.For a little over twice the price, I think the Omron is the winner. I’ll be returning this one, but if $72 is out of your price range, I think this is a reasonable option.

A doctor's visit revealed that my blood pressure was higher than normal, so much so that the doctor was concerned. She suggested I begin monitoring it regularly at home. My wife (a retired nurse) retrieved her manual blood pressure cuff but the rubber had cracked. Considered replacing the rubber but came to realize purchasing an automatic blood pressure monitor was within the same price range as replacing the rubber from her manual blood pressure cuff. After careful review, I chose this unit. I could not be happier. IT is easy to use, seems to be quite accurate (it seems the blood pressure system my doctor's office is using isn't as accurate as you would think. I love the ability of this unit to store my blood pressure history; makes it quite easy to compare and review. A perfect automatic blood pressure monitor for my needs.

In my opinion. the DrKea+ large cuff blood pressure testing device is an excellent blood pressure testing device that beats its competition on quality and price with strong customer support. The bp units readings are reasonable for me based on my past readings at the doctor's office and at pharmacies. Its Amazon ratings beat the top rated units from the Consumer Reports blood pressure machines tests that are also sold on Amazon. Amazon ratings of 85 percent four and five star ratings out of nearly 600 ratings is indicative of very strong overall customer satisfaction. It beats other well rated units significantly on price as well.Accuracy is the over riding criteria in a blood pressure monitor and unfortunately with the corona virus closing doctors offices I could not do a comparison test with my doctors in office unit. However as stated readings were reasonable based on my past history. First unit's package was smashed in shipping and continually flashed a misoperation warning when taking my blood pressure despite my following units directions for properly taking one's blood pressure. I contacted DrKea customer support and they sent me a new unit that is working well. Screen is easy to read and the cuff appears well made for long wear. Cuff when adjusted is held firmly in place so I find it easiest to keep the cuff attached, slightly loosening it, and just sliding it off and on. This makes it easier for the next usage. For me, getting accurate readings depends upon me following the units directions closely, being as relaxed as possible, and the accuracy of the unit itself. I have confidence in the accuracy of the unit.

Quite a challenge to use the unit, but it works well and is easy to use, once you get used to it.
