I added this to my ( PiSector 4G Cellular GSM Wireless Security Alarm System Quad-band Support 2G/3G/4G network ). Easy to program into the existing system and have a good amount of range.

Works as intended.But...the problem is that it sometimes sets the system or triggers the emergency alarm while it is in my pocket. It's attached to a 2nd key ring which is attached to the spring-steel key ring that I've had for 53 years! I have one house key, one Chrysler minivan key, a physically small USB thumb drive and a couple of store customer barcode tags on my key ring. Before adding this remote trigger, I would inadvertently trigger the car alarm, open the rear hatch or sliding doors, or lock it up while sitting and watching TV in my living room and the car in my un-attached garage! All I needed to do was get out of my recliner and one of the items on my key ring would activate the car. I keep only my keys and handkerchief in my right front pocket, so it wasn't coins or anything else triggering the car. Since adding this remote to my keyring, I've either set the system, triggered the emergency, or put my system into chime mode about once every week or so while sitting in my chair!I'm toying with making some kind of easily removable cover for this to prevent accidental alarm triggerings.Of note is that the preinstalled battery that it came with lasted less than 2 months. It takes a CR2032 battery. I bought and installed new batteries for all 3 of my remote controllers. To open them, press on the little tab at the top of the 'body' of the unit, inside the keyring hole.

simple to operate and works reliably

The entire system performed so poorly that nit was returned for a refund. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend PiSector products.

I've had two of these remote's die and the other key loop broke and can no longer be attached to my key ring. I would not buy them again if I didn't have a PiSector alarm.

Remote is perfect except the button can be easily engaged on your pocket without you pressing it.

Does what it's supposed to. Came with a near dead battery that I had to replace after 2 weeks. These are a little bulky and sometimes get bumped accidentally in my pocket and activate the alarm unintentionally. However, the convenience far outweighs the nuisance.
