I used this to spray roses with either insecticide or an Uncle Tom type tonic. First thing I noticed was that it's not easy to see the level of liquid inside the sprayer. The dark orange colour makes it very difficult, even with the light behind it - there should be a transparent/translucent clear strip down the litre markers. Second thing is that the lance is not extendable (I'd assumed, having just pensioned off an old Hozelock sprayer, that all sprayers had extendable lances). As I've got several climbing roses well over 2m that's a significant drawback. Sprays OK, although the adjustable nozzle is over sensitive, going from coarse to fine too quickly, but the above major drawbacks are a problem for me. I'd buy a hozelock, frankly - indeed I may well do that anyway.

Negative - I fill the funnel top with water then have to use the plunger to push the water into the tank, this I have do every time I fill the funnel top, it takes up a lot of time if I want to fill to three liters. Would prefer to be able to unscrew the complete unit at the top, fill to desired level, then use the pump to pressure the water to the wand.The shut-off valve on the spray wand keeps slipping back to off position when I work it manually, flimsy part.Positive - I like the length of the wand, it enables one to stand well back when spraying. The tank as a whole is light to carry when full.
