So I used it to cut thin acrylic, it cuts well up to 2.5mm after that it get kinda useless at that. I used it as a hot knife for context.Wrapping some nichrome wire around it does the trick. If it can cut acrylic though it should have no problem slicing through fabric like butter.

Would not fit in my hot knife (not a KD brand)
Appears to be a quality part but did not fit my generic hot knife. Electrodes are 4mm diameter on 18mm center which was too large for my knife. Double check what size your knife is before you order.
