Did I like it? - yes and no
I liked the characterization of Anna. She had all the hallmarks of the usual M&B alpha male, including the past lovers etc; and SM manages to still keep her feminine. No shrewishnessz there. The two stars are for that. But this is the only "hook", everything else is just ho hum. Sometimes drags.Absolutely did not like that Draco was just out from his mistress's bed (he pops out and starts his journey back), kisses Anna within five minutes of meeting her in the airport lounge and almost has sex with her in the plane!!I cannot get my head around that - even if not serious , he was still in the relationship with his mistress, which had been on for two months! Total immoral rat behaviour.

Mills and Boon Success
I loved the Orsini Brothers series, it's good to see the sisters get a go at finding HEA too. I can't wait to see how the Orsini's finish off. Isabella is my favourite character, what better way to finish off the series.I thought Ana and Draco were strong characters and it was interesting to see that for the majority of the book there was no secondary characters to 'fill out' the story. Bravo!

Very enjoyable sensual read!
This is my fourth "Orsini" family book that I have read. Each one gets better and better. The beginning of this book grabs you and keeps you holding your breath. Although Anna seems very strong willed/stubborn she turns out to be a woman capable of love and giving her undying affection to some one who is just as stubborn as she is. I like the way her father send each of the siblings on a "trip/favor" for him. This is a great book. You won't be disappointed!!

A Lawyer and a Prince
Draco and Anna try to fight their attraction. When they finally give in they discover that they are both afraid of the future. They both fight with the same passion against making a commitment to each other. Then when Draco tries to keep Anna with him he royally messes up by trying to change her life. I loved when Draco went to go see the Orisinni brothers to ask for her hand in marriage.

Not so great
I liked the characters and the book started off well but it quickly slid into way too much internal dialogue, which was boring. I found myself skipping through page after page because of it. The story was thin and the hero and heroine spent one week together total. I didn't believe in the happily ever after at the end. They hardly knew eachother.

Everything I expected
This book captured all the points I expect in a romance novel...girl forced to do something against her will. Man, accidentally can't help but fall in love with her and will do anything to get her back. The fact that he is wicked handsome and rich is icing on the cake.

Too many bedroom scenes and not enough depth in story content - shame, it could have been a great read.

An enthralling addition to the Orsini family series
This is the fifth book in the Orsini family mini- series and once again Sandra Marton shows us why she is the unrivalled queen of M&B mini-series/ family saga. From the Landon legacy , to the Barons, the O'Connell's, the Knights and now the Orsini's , to mention a few, her successful miniseries have delighted many of us for years. Now comes this wonderful and compelling addition to the Orsini family series, the story of Anna Orsini and Prince Draco Valenti. This was a dramatic and gripping read, very engaging and kept me on the edge until the end. It was formulaic but not predictable in that it followed the opening pattern of the previous books with Cesare Orsini summoning his daughter for a chat and asking her a favour. If you recall the four Orsini brothers didn't think much of their father and neither did his two daughters. However he had sent all four on an errand after much plea and appeal to their sentimental side, that side that still cared for their mother or the Orsini name. For each the task/errand ended with meeting the woman of their dreams and the rest as they say is history.Like her brothers before her, Anna also distanced herself from her father and put herself through university rather than accept help form her Dad. Now a successful lawyer, in particular a successful litigator with a candid passion for the law and for taking on pro-bono cases. Despite her initial refusal to help her father, when Cesare spun her a sub-story that touched on her weak point (defending the helpless and seeing that justice was done) Anne balked. She will go to Italy and reclaim her mother's ancestral land.Prince Draco Valenti had a gruesome childhood, and has worked hard to put his past behind him and rebuilt the Valenti name and financial empire; after the destruction wrought by his father and grandfather before him. He abhors publicity and scandal, he trusts no one, depends on no one and in fact the entire Valenti investments is owned privately by him and him alone. For some time now he has been in receipt of a series of irritating letters from Cesare Orsini, claiming ownership of the piece of Land in Taormina, Sicily that clearly belonged to his ancestors. However it would seem that his `go away' messages to Orsini had fallen on deaf ears. Cesare Orsini was now threatening him with a court case if his meeting with his representative failed to settle the matter. Draco Valenti would not allow a mobster to intimidate or threaten him. There can only be one course of action, he will meet the Orsini rep and settle this once and for all.The meeting of Anna Orsini and Draco Valenti was flagrantly volatile even before they were introduced. Sparks flew, more than that, the earth shook, from hostility to intense attraction. The opening of this book with their meeting at the airport was impressive, but what was most enthralling was that the high drama, tension and suspense did not wane till the end of the book. It is one of those books you wish will continue or should have been longer. Both lead characters were very well matched; Anne is a modern woman with a stubbornness that will rival a mule, independent and takes no prisoners while Draco on the hand is the original Ice Prince, not easily rattled by anything, neither does he lose control of his emotions or his manners until Anna Orsini happened to him. In my opinion this will go down as one of the best Orsini family series.
