They arrived quickly and were packaged well. I don’t have a way to measure its MERV 12 rating, but they do collect a lot of dust. Good at removing cooking odors from the house. Can’t get the 2 inch filter from the big box stores, so I will definitely be buying these again from this seller. Very reasonable price point.

Previously, I used 3M Filtrete MPR 2200 and 2800 1" filters. When I switched to the Nordic Pure MERV 13+ carbon, I noticed that the carbon component made a difference on odors. I could not tell a difference in performance with particulates -- my allergies seemed about the same, and the dust level in the house (both in the air and deposited on surfaces) seemed about the same.In addition to my desire to reduce odors, I was hoping that, in switching from a 1" to 2" filter at around the same MERV level, I'd reduce the stress on my furnace fan. I was finding that the high-end 1" filter would clog up pretty badly before it needed to be changed, significantly reducing airflow through my vents. And, when my furnace fan failed, the HVAC technician indicated that one factor might have been that I was not changing it often enough (even though I changed it monthly). It's unclear whether the change to this filter did help with that, because it still eventually gets loaded up with dust and reduces the fan's ability to push air (at the same time characteristically bowing outward) -- but at least it costs a bit less than the 3M.Before buying this filter, I looked through all of the Nordic Pure options and saw that the MERV 13 was the highest recommended for use with a standard (older, non-high-efficiency) furnace. That's what I have, so that's what I bought.I just checked my filter again this morning because I was noticing lingering odors. Sure enough, the old filter was covered in dust and slightly bowing upward. Within a few hours of replacing it, the house was smelling fresh again.Note that these are currently expensive here on Amazon. The price here is showing as 74.03 for me, with a "list price" of 89.95. On the Nordic Pure site, they currently sell the same product for 51.09 and indicate an MSRP of 55.98. When I first bought them here, Amazon sold them for around MSRP.

filters that are worth every cent, a good purchase

What's to say? They're the of filter we need, they fit, they work. The end.

Litter box is near low wall return and when furnace turns on the smell would spread around house, ...not any more

With our new a/c unit using this size of filter our local big box store only sells the 3m brand one at a time and the quality of this is just as good as the 3m and is a bit more affordable !

We installed 4 of these filters in our rooftop to help address some odor problems and these have definitely helped with the issue

Immediately noticed a difference after I switched the filter from merv 8 to nordic pure merv 13. Since my furnace is rated merv 11, I've just been using this in the summer to clean the air which has come in handy for wildfire smoke.Highly recommend although pricey. Hopefully Nordic Pure can set up a more regular cheaper Canadian warehouse.

2" filters hard to find anywhere other then Amazon. Fit is great.
