NuMedica - Glutenza - 60 Vegetable Capsules

Just like many, gluten and dairy not my friends. Thankfully do not have celiac, just a lot of sensitivity which results in serious discomfort. I have been gluten-free for three years. So, when I was told about this product I jumped on it!Here is what I have experienced: I took two before my birthday dinner which was linguini/scallops in a light sauce, a few bites of a mud pie and a glass of wine.I was fine. No issues at all. Since then I have used them, on several occasions, while dinning out.All has been good until I got a little nutso and ate a plate of fettuccini Alfredo and too much bread. The gluten and heavy dairy was too much. I definitely paid the price for my gluttony.Ok...lesson learned to be discerning with the food combo.However, I am so glad to have found the product because it makes eating out and traveling so much easier.Again, it also works with dairy and soy as well.

This product is temperature sensitive. They ship it out improperly without a cold pack.The amount of time it sits inside a hot truck effects the product The first time I thought it was anoversight. But I see that they must not care.

had been using a different product of digestive enzymes for helping with gluten exposure, until I found this product. I feel much better using this product. Though I'm delighted this product exists, I'm more confused than ever. This product contains a strain of probiotics that my doctor told me NEVER to take (saccharomyces) since I have horrible gluten intolerance. And yet here it is in this product. Perhaps I have an ignorant doctor? I trust Tom O'Bryan (www.thedr.com) for all things related to gluten-intolerance, and he highly endorses this product so I'm certainly hopeful. I'll try to update this review after I've had occasion to use this product.

I purchased this product after hearing Dr. Thomas O'Brien talk about it. This is supposed to breakdown the protein from wheat., barley and rye. I ordered and then decided to do research on it. Well turns out Dr. O'Brien and the company are the only people that know about this stuff. Only one review and it was here on amazon.Okay so it arrives and I'm hopeful that it will help my gluten sensitivity. I don't eat anything containing gluten, but when eating out I do get cross contaminated frequently. I used it 3 times so far after eating out. The bottle says take 2 during meal, but the doctor said it was typo and only 1 necessary.I had zero help any of the times I used it and the last time I decided may 2 pills are better.I currently have a full blown migraine and digestive issues. If it does help you're lucky, but it may be anecdotal in my opinion. The only real cure is stay home and cook whole foods no cans,packages or bottles.

I am still unable to eat gluten but it appears slight cross-contamination is not as significant add it once was. Will I purchase this again? NOT for the price it is offered and most likely not at all. Value vs. benefit is not what the advertiser pledged.

I can't eat gluten, but my husband likes to go out to eat. I take one of these if we go to a restaurant or anywhere other than home to eat. It is precautionary. You never know when you will get some cross-contamination, or worse. It removes the gluten within 90 minutes. It is not designed for "cheating". It is for accidental ingestion.

I bought this Glutenza for my wife because Dr. Tom recommended it. It did not work for her. It gave her a bad migraine every time she took it.
