CAB LIGHTS
I wanted to put cab lights on my truck for a while now, and I finally got the courage to drill holes into the roof of my truck so I bought the kit and on they went. Let me warn you that the instructions flat out suck. I won't go into detail, just throw them in the garbage immediately. Do yourself a favor and jump online to find some write-ups on how to install these. Also, go and buy some rubber grommets! This kit doesn't come with them, and although they might not be necessary I personally didn't feel comfortable with wires rubbing inside jagged sheet metal holes. The little plastic wire splices that come in the kit are useless unless you want to drill 5 holes in your roof bigger than 1/2". I personally thought they were cheap and decided not to use them, I soldered the wires together. There is no template included either which would have been a HUGE help in getting everything lined up evenly. The wire included was not long enough to allow me to tap into the factory power location so I used some gray 16ga wire I had in my garage. A couple of lights made cracking noises as I was tightening them up, which made me a little nervous. I did put a dab of marine silicone on the screw threads to help waterproof everything. I would buy this kit again but knowing the aforementioned before installation would have made things go alot faster and smoother.

Best value for what is available
These lights perfectly match the dimensions for the factory Ford cab lights that were used from 73-97, and so are a good choice for replacing broken or weathered original lights. However, this was the second time I have had to buy this set for my 76 F-250 in 9 years (last set had broken from weather), so the plastic quality is not what OEM is. Since it is getting harder and more expensive to find OEM lights, these are the best value for replacing factory cab lights. If you do not have a Ford, or are not replacing the same shape of light, I would recommend another style of light. If your truck is not parked inside, you need to regularly use a plastic protectant! This kit does come with screws, wiring, and a switch, which just go in my extra parts. If the plastic was a higher quality, I would give a 5-star rating.

Roof Lights. Just the way they should be.
So my son buys this awesome old F250 It has some issues, but then again, it's 30+ years old. I expect it to.Most of the roof lights were busted and that would cause it to fail inspection in Massachusetts. So we ordered up a set of these and wow, they went on without any effort at all. Things looked great and all the parts were there. and we had a good afternoon putting them on the roof.

Cheaply made and over priced
They were made flimsy, lenses broke off mounts, they don't curve at all to the roof of my truck and they are just cheaply made.. They should be 20$ max! Wiring was easy I did like that, but not nearly enough wire to reach, so I had to use my own. Also 2 of my bulbs were shattered when I got them. But after I installed and sealed with silicone they look nice.

The lights can't directly replace ford OEM light fixtures. These have different bulb holders. However It was easy enough to cut off old connectors and make new connections. Lights look great on the truck!

Really nice but didn't match my plugs
the lens and bulbs comes with wiring. I just wanted to swap out my lens but the light plugs were not the same size. Lens were identical.

awsome cab lights
these lights were very easy to install, the hardest parts are actually drilling the holes through your roof and putting back in the interior. but other than that they work great, they are very bright and also reliable. takes as little as 2 hours to install.
