White Rye Flour

I was having a difficult time finding Light rye flour for a Swedish Sweet rye bread my Mom used to bake. came across this light rye flour and it turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for.

Very nice product just as advertised.

Light rye flour is harder to come by these days. This quality product was delivered to my home in Anchorage, AK, very quickly.

I've been baking bread for a while now and love using rye flour. This White Rye Flour arrived very fresh, proofed easily, but it has no rye flavor! That's why I came to check what I actually ordered. I thought I misunderstood the description and ordered white flour. BUT... it's so fresh and light, I'm going to mix a dark rye flour with it for my next loaf. It's really excellent flour, just not what I was expecting.

Decided to try this flour when shortages prevented purchase of my usual brand. I used it to make a loaf of overnight no knead caraway rye. The bread came out fragrant and tasty with lots of artisan style holes. I shared with relatives and they loved it. I made a second loaf the next day and it was just as delicious.

This was not the product that was delivered to me. The bulk bag looked very generic and nothing like the product that was on the description. Mine had no label and was stamped Kosher white rye flour. Odd !!.

The product is good but the plastic bag that the 10 lbs comes in is way too flimzy and was broken so a lot of the four was in the box.

Excellent flour - the price seemed almost too good to be true but we’ve really enjoyed it
