Mood Lab Bird Deterrent Tape - 400 ft Long - Reflective Scare Tape

We have 7 chickens and a rooster. We let them roam free in our very large backyard. However, they seem to enjoy be around or near us so they congregate on the back and front porch while the rooster feels he must serenade us as well! We like the fresh eggs and so do our neighbors, but we don't like the mess the chickens create and the rooster crowing at our windows, so I had been looking for a solution when I stumbled on this tape. I was skeptical, but at this price and simplicity thought it was more than worth the try. My package arrived yesterday and... wow! After placing just two stirps of tape in the back pourch and two on the front, no chickens in sight! And the rooster has kept quiet and far from the house! This stuff works GREAT! This product is doing its purpose of keeping the flock of birds from picking on our fruit trees. So far so good! The birds seem to get freaked out by the reflective property and also by the rustling noise of this tape/ribbon whenever there is a breeze. The curious squirrels are slowly learning however that this is not anything that will cause them harm. They have tried to climb the persimmon tree and pear tree in the back yard. It did take a while for them before they slowly tested the waters. Good thing I’m working remotely so I can patrol the yard and see how well these reflective tape is working! Overall, it’s a great product made of great quality materials and very easy to attach using a regular stapler! Thank you as we think we may be able to enjoy some fruits from our backyard this year instead of getting frustrated that the birds and squirrels have voraciously and carelessly gotten to the fruits during harvest. We’ll just have to wait and see when the fruits are ripe! :)

We tried many bird repellents, including expensive electronic and ultrasonic units. Non worked, so we decided to try a simpler method and lo and behold this paper did the trick. It's inexpensive and it works! The fluttering and the noise keeps the birds away from messing in and on our boat and boathouse. Great product. We will always have a supply handy from now on.

Does it work? I really don't know. However, I put lots of grass seed out and have not seen a bird. This is the first year without birds! So I suspect it worked very well and no birds is proof. I did see birds on other yards eating and enjoying the winter rye. I will use it next year and try it in fruit trees. For the price it is worth a try for sure. I would buy the product again. I have plenty left for next year and that put out this year is in good shape for reuse.

Put a bunch of strips on my fig tree that was being swarmed by birds and squirrels. Wife wasn't happy but I told her it would keep the critters off the tree.Unfortunately I saw no decrease of any kind in the amount of wildlife on the tree. Only difference was that it now looks like someone rolled my fig tree with tacky-looking shiny tape. I was hoping this would work, cuz I love my figs but this wasn't the answer.

Yall this works like a charm!!! We had those annoying scissors tails that we aren’t aloud to hunt in this zone. And they were tearing up the patio and porch with poop. And they come back every year. We had tried all kinda of suggestions and hacks until someone told me of this! They dont nest! They still fly through but wont land anymore

Ordered this tape a couple years ago for my blueberry bushes and was pleased with it, got lazy and didn't reorder,so last summer I got very few berries, the bird's cleaned me out almost overnight. They also had an abundance of figs. I don't mind sharing but evidently they do.

It works at scaring the birds away, but the service life is limited. The strip on top of my mailbox was effective for less than a year and I should have replaced it already. Fortunately it is inexpensive and I have plenty left over for the re-do, but I was hoping for a more permanent solution. The manufacturer calls this "tape" but it is actually ribbon (no adhesive on it). Apparently nobody makes this type of product with an adhesive backing, or at least I couldn't find it.
