Chef Craft Select Paring Knife Set, 2.5 inch blade 6 inch in length 4 piece set, Assorted

I had a set for years and the plastic lost its color and the blade could not hold an edge at the end of life. This was normal wear & tear when used daily for many years. These are not high quality knives but they do serve a purpose with their size, a good thingy. I use one daily and leave one in the dry rack utensil cup for quick access. I bought these to replace and I do expect many years of use out of them. i am very pleased with this product.

Do note that the quality of these knives is going down hill. The plastic handles are thinners than others. Eventually the blade occasionally snaps off the handle. I do throw them in the dishwasher. Great for cutting sandwiches, slicing chicken, cheese, you name it. They are great for paring most items other than tomatoes for which I use a serrated knife. Not super durable as others. The blades have dulled long before older comprimable knives that I have. Have not seen the more substantial models in the stores lately so have reordered a second set.

These rate 5 stars just so long as you accept that these are (currently) the cheapest set of little knives on Amazon. They're sharp, convenient, and very clearly cheap construction. If you cared about your knives looking cheap and being cheap, you'd at least be getting the similar set of 4 knives with black handles instead of looking at these with the kiddy-toy color handles. If you take these into mortal combat with anything larger than a hamster, you're gonna lose.

Handy, sharp. Easy to spot in the silverware tray. I li I e to have a few extra inexpensive knives for quick cutting needs and perhaps an inexpensive knife to go into a cooler or basket for the road. These fit the bill. Not super sturdy for hard cheese and they do tend to slip through my dishwasher silverware tray because they're so small. That's kind of a pain, so I'll be washing by hand in the future. But for the price they're a good purchase for us.

These are the worst knives! The blade is so flimsy & dull that it is difficult to cut/slice most raw vegetables and fruits in sizes that are frequently used in meals or salads. Waste of money!

I love this type of knife - they're handy and inexpensive and when they're dull, you don't feel too badly about tossing them. That's the PROs, now the CONs. First, the blade isn't overly sharp so it's questionable how long they'll last. Second, the handle is only .2 (two tenths) of an inch thick. Compared to knives from 4 years ago maybe which are .25 (a quarter of an inch), believe me you can feel the difference. BTW, an older version of this same knife is nearly .5 inch. It's amazing how well your hand can feel the difference. I wear a size M glove, so my hands are sorta on the small side, but the knife literally moves around in my hand when I'm trying to cut with it. DEFINITELY not for a man's hand. I'm leaning towards not recommending these knives.

I bought these from Amazon so long ago that it isn't showing on my orders any more. But I just used on and wish to contribute this. I use them to open food packages that you need a knife for, so I preserve my really good knives. For example, my cold brew coffee has foil you have to pierce. These are perfect. As for cutting food, they are cheap knives, very short blade, and not comfortable to use for lots of chopping. But if you want an extra cheap little knife, they are great.

bought these to replace one my wife got as a gift at SAMs many years ago. She lost the one we had and really missed it. These were the same except for the color; they're super sharp and handy. Great price and decent quality

These may look like a little knife but be careful. They are very sharpe and easy to use. They fit in your hand nicely. As for the price you can't beat it for 4 knives. I definitely would buy these again.

Too small and tends to wander when cutting due to being sharpened from one edge.
