Good advise - could use more details
This author really tries his best to hammer into our female brains the reason "great" guys start acting squirrelly. I wish he could have gone into a little more detail as far as giving examples on what to say to a man or how to react in certain situations. As someone who didn't grow up with brothers, dated quite a bit, was married and divorced, and had several long-term relationships, Bruce still did a good job of explaining male behavior and romantic thought processes.

Enjoyed!
Bruce really shares his wisdom in his books. This was no different. The 15 secret reasons why men disappear was a very interesting read.

Very Informative
A lot of information for someone new to dating or that has been married for a while and is starting to date again. A good book for men to read as well, why not?!

It’s ok, if you can get over the authors tone
Decent book with some good points. I don’t care for his writing style necessarily, and got super annoyed with his constant use of ‘read that last sentence again’ after every other paragraph. He seems a little condescending and is writing for a very specific type of woman. Overall, I’m sure if you took his advice it would help someone get/keep a man.

Good read
Intrigued by the title, I read this book and found it pretty insightful into how men think and how women could an act in ways to protect themselves from unnecessary hurt and learn how to sift through the different kind of men out there. I liked the advice about how High Value women are so secure in themselves they don't need to chase ghosters or those with waning interest. However, I wasn't so clear on the definition of a high value man in terms of ghosting. It wasn't made clear that a high value man DOESN'T ghost. If a high value women is able to maintain her dignity and express her needs in a relationship then a high value man is able to end a relationship with his own dignity. Ghosting, as I see it, isn't a dignified act. I agree that the acts of a woman can indeed influence whether a man will stay and they're essential.I liked his example of the two women at the end who react differently to a man withdrawing. The examples brought the message of the book to life and overall, I thought it was a really well thought out and insightful read on human behavior in the context of new dating patterns. It's just a pity we can't just give people respect and preserve their dignity by, essentially, not ghosting!
