Great program to design houses, sheds, garages and more. Love it! It's really amazing and fun.

I have used this to assist my design and construction of:1. renovation of a 120 yr old farmhouse including electrical , roof as well as room layout at a detail my contractor was able to refer saving time and MONEY.2. Renovation of a 150 year old barn to a modern "she shed for hobby use. This included modifying the structure, providing for concrete pads and wiring for the structure.3. Design and plans for a 4500 sq foot garage workshop. masonry, wiring , plumbing as well as roofIn each case this program is simple and easy to develop plans making the visualization of the structures easy and was able to provide the "pros" information to accomplish the plan and family to see the vision early enough to make changes before costing money.I wish there was an easier way to scan and incorporate plans from my architect to allow me a greater amount of independence in design critique when working with the architect. But I have loved this program since it was given to me as a christmas gift.No comment on tech support as I never used them. I am NOT a building professional so cannot comment on its use at that level. I have found it met all of my needs and my architect used my program output for a starting point in his rendition of the addition to my residence. What more can I say! WELL worth the cost!!

The actual design program is amazing, but so far we cannot get the download to work that is supposed to import all the items from the library. The technical support person was very kind, but was not successful in solving the problem.

Using the product to remodel and expand a 1940's era home. The training videos are really well done and are absolutely helpful in becoming familiar with all of the various things one can do with this awesome planning tool. I am really having fun both learning the tool and creating meaningful plans for my vision for our house. A++ in my book.

I like everything about it so far. It has an option called Space Planning that lets you place rooms in any configuration that you want and let the program build the walls for you as near as it can from your configuration. Simple editing from there to get the desired result. Very happy with the software.

Very Easy to use, Good amount of features that you get for the money. I use this program for fun and to design homes and other buildings. Budget friendly, went through chief architect to upgrade from a previous version. Love the new rendering engine for 3D views. It will take some time to get the lighting just right but once you get the hang of it very easy from that point on. Followed manual and you will be up in no time. I highly recommend this software. I ordered it in USB and received a disc. WTH??? Good thing I have an external disc drive or I would be returning it since the intended recipient has no way to load it.
