VERY good, VERY accurate, LESS expensive than those name brands
I use these when i run out of the brand my insurance co pays for. These work great, but i'm a creature of habit, so i always go back to the ones i'm used to. But these are so much less expensive, and they work WONDERFUL and are very accurate. I do recommend them if you need to go less expensive than the ones ins won't pay for. which it seems they are trying to make it a life decision to check our blood sugar.

Honest Review.
The price to check your sugar levels can get expensive, genstrip is here to the rescue! It comes close to the reading from the brand name version, over all i am very happy with this purchase.I paid for this, no one pays me for my review.

Work as well as the famous name brand for 1/3 the cost
After paying $60 copay for the name brand version, I bought these for insulin-dependent husband to try. He tested these side by side with the expensive brand and found very little difference in the results. These are well-worth the 2/3 savings and we will be ordering these from now on.

Test strips not reading accurately.
Tested this side by side with my one touch ultra test strips within a few seconds of each other. The result : he strips read a number 40 below what one touch ultra test strips were reading. That's a big discrepancy especially if someone is on insulin. Tested it for the second time a minute later and still read 30+ less. Each test strips were configured for the code displayed on the container.

Didn't work out for me
Unfortunately the generic strips weren't accurate enough for me compared to the brand name strips for the same meter (as well as another glucose meter /strips) so I wasn't able to continue using them as I was basing my dosage on the results.

Consumer Friendly
These strips are very consumer friendly, easy to fill, and out of 200 strips, only one failed to fill. I have permanently switched to this brand and can confidently recommend them to other buyers. Super buy.

Consistent and pretty close to One-Touch strips
I took a chance on these and they give me consistent results. My One-Touch Ultra is from 2009 so the strips work fine. I'm not sure how they match up with the One-Touch strips from a accuracy standpoint but my One-Touch strips didn't match with the lab results either. If you are really concerned if your blood sugar is 100 or 103 then maybe these are not for you but if you are looking for a cheaper alternative so that you know what range your blood sugar is in then these might work well.
