FC720 - Ultimate Overall Clearcoat

This clearcoat is great have ordered and used several times. What you get same as at sherwinn Williams store but somewhat cheaper in price. Main thing here is results which about equal original finish quick smooth easy.

I have been practicing spraying 2k clear in preparation for a model project I am working on and decided I wanted to try this 2k clear. I am amazed at the extreme hi gloss with zero orange peel I got using this clear. I cured it in a dehydrator at 120 deg F for 4 hrs and it is super durable. This quart setup is reasonably priced and gives you so much more than the small 2k bottles you can get at hobby shops. I mixed at 4 parts clear, 1 part hardener and 1 part Mr Color leveling thinner. This was sprayed over Tamiya gloss black TS-14 and the spoon looks like a gloss black mirror now.

Easy to mix. I'm not sure if it was overmixing or my spray gun, but I ended up with a lot of bubbles. Otherwise, I used this to seal 2 large whiskey barrels to be left outside. They have weathered multiple downpours and sitting out in the sun for a couple months and still look shiney and newly painted. This covered both barrels with 3 coats and the containers are 1/2 full so we are going to use it on some more outdoor wood furniture.

Easy to spray. I used it on a valve cover, so not really representative of the what the product is supposed to be used for. Used the faster version of this and it dried WAY too fast. Wet sanded and polished fine using 3M compound.

Repairing a horribly faded and pealing metallic paint job on the kids car. The price of paint has gone through the roof. Almost more than the car was worth. Rust-ilium metallic aluminum and this clear coat did the trick. Flows like a champ with next to no orange peel. Just wish it had better or any cleanup chemical instructions. There are non. Will definitely use this product again. Can only imagine the results if this had not been an extreme rush job
