An excellent primer on the subject
Yes, it’s a fairly fundamental breakdown of the topic but for what it does it does it well. The format is structurally sound, and it is well-written and succinct. Much of the info was a review for me but then again I do have some background in the field. I’d consider this a good starting point for someone looking into the subject of anxiety and negative thinking. It i informative and well researched. The book also has several practical tips and tactics for dealing with the issues of anxiety, worry and overthinking. I grabbed the Kindle for .99 cents, so it's also a good value. That along with the solid writing and info, I definitely rate this one five-stars. Recommended.

Helpful Quick Read!
Hello. Chase's book, "How to Stop Overthinking" was a simple and quick read full of great suggestions and strategies. I tend to overthink and worry. I am already using many of his suggestions and working towards "retraining" my brain to focus on the positive. It is a book I will refer to over and over and will re-read all my personally highlighted sections. We often need to be reminded of the positive steps needed in life when we sometimes slip into old bad patterns.

Lots of content, needs more direction
The authors went through lots of research, but it feels overwhelming, has questionable passages "call into work to be late" vs an overarching strategy to combat this. Instead of a playbook, it's overload of info

This short book gives good pointers on how to stop negative obsessive worry and feel better.
I purchased this book because of the way I have always reacted to things: negativity, worry, fear. Some of it stems from my parents being alcoholics and marrying a narrcisist at a very young age who is extremely contary, negative, argumentive and blaming. i need to change the way i react to everything. This takes practice but at 61 yo I need to find peace and contentment with me. Anyway I think i will reread this book, it has good advice but will take practice.

Understand Your Overthinking
Chase Hill and Scott Sharp provide a solid solution to the common problem of overthinking. I knew someone years ago from my friends who could not fall a sleep. Her thoughts kept her awake half of the night, and the only thing that helped was taking sleeping pills. That's a dangerous path, as over medication will lead to serious health issues. Better grab a copy of this book and learn exactly why you are overthinking. This book gives solid advice on how to stop this and even turn this around into managing your life much better.
