I bought this out of complete desperation since IKEA doesn’t carry the 3.5 anymore. I paid more than I paid for the original from ikea just thinking it would be okay. First time I washed it after 2 months on my sofa it ripped. I always put my ikea one on damp as I did this one, but it would not stretch over the back and when I tried it ripped. I read the other reviews saying the same thing thinking they just didn’t do it right, but it’s true. Don’t waste your money.

This is a replacement cover for the ikea ektorp 3.5 sofa sold by Hometown Market. I have had it for 5 months. Our sofa has minimal to a normal use. I have not washed it yet but whatever gets on it I can easily clean with a little oxi-clean. It fits really well and is very attractive. I absolutely loved it as soon as I put it on. It was very easy to put on and stretched right over. This seemed very well made and heavy duty..until I removed the cushions to clean. As you can see in the photos included, there is a very obvious hole near a seam. This cover to me was not cheap at $228.88. My return window is expired so I can’t return it. Should not have worn in only 5 months. I would not order this product as it did not last even 6 months. Very disappointed.

Does NOT fit the IKEA Ektorp 3.5 seat sofa. Slipcover not the size the seller described. At least 9” too long & 3 “ too wide.Quality is awful- the color is not the bright white as described- more cream color, and it looks awful. Don’t waste your time or money. It’s going right back.

This has bought us some time as we are thinking of Pottery Barn Replacement.
