Device is good despite the intensity issue.
I purchased this device under the notion that constant stimulating foot acupuncture points could be health beneficial. However, since I don’t have any major health issue, I haven’t fully realized the benefit of it, honestly. The device is very straightforward. Length of time (up to one hour), 25 kinds of stimulating type (mode), intensity (1 to 99). I like to leave the mode at 00 which is the default when you power up. I assume the 00 mode goes thru all 25 stimulating types, it seems so but I can’t compare and confirm them. The intensity is the one I had problem with. I started around 40 but after about 3 days use, the intensity became inaccurate. I had to turn all the way up to 80, 85 to get the same amount of intensity. I decided to return. The return process was quite easy and the return label was printed. A few days later, the intensity function was back to normal again. I don’t understand why but it works since then. I still have the printed return label but it’s over a month now so I probably can’t return. I’ll keep it anyway.I don’t buy the explanation in the manual saying the feeling of intensity varied with your foot daily sensitivity. It can’t be so because my wife felt the same way when it became inaccurate. Besides, my foot sensitivity can’t be so much off after 3 days use and ok since then until now?Another thing, it’s quite bothersome to keep pressing the intensity level when you power up to get to your desire level. I normally use it at level 50 to 60 that means I need to keep pressing 50, 60 times every time of use. They need to come up with a solution for this issue just for the ease of use. Other than that I can say I’m happy with the device.I haven’t used the individual pads or belt so I have no comment on them.

DELIVERS MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE!
At first I was under the impression this device only provided electrical stimulation to the feet alone. I was pleasantly surprised to find that, either alone, or in conjunction with, stimulation to the feet, you can also hook up 2 separate wires that multiply into 4 electrical connections, 8 pads in all, each connection can connect to provided stimulation pads for targeted stimulation to wherever you want, in pairs to provide the required + and - contact. This removes the need for a 10's unit. Also, the price of this item is a little more than 1/3 the cost of its widely advertised competitor. As a bonus, the foot stimulation suite contains infrared LED's that radiate light and stimulate the arch area, from big toe to heel. Infrared LED's are known to have great penetrating ability to provide deep seated therapy. You can program each function, Foot stimulation, or targeted sticky pads, separately with 11 different pulse patterns, from a steady electrical stimulation, to alternating small then large pulses that radiate deeply. You can dial up or down the strength of the stimulation from 1 to 99, once again, separately for foot or targeted stimulation. On top of all this, there is a provided remote that operates on a coin battery that allows you to completely control all functions remotely. The only drawback here is that the remote doesn't have much range, and I have to hold it near the unit to make it work, but it does help in that I don't have to bend down to the level of the unit itself to manipulate the controls.I have nerve pains in my hands and feet, and a couple of sessions with this unit have given me great relief to both of these problem sites. After a couple of sessions, these chronic problems seemingly abated to where I don't need this therapy every day, but perhaps a "touch up" in 3 or 4 days. Seems the nerves don't want to act up after therapy.I give this an 11 on a 10 scale - over all. I gave one to my sister as an Early Christmas Gift.

The snap on contacts are easy to use BUT the metal part tends to sting. On the back belt only a thin disc of plastic is stuck over the metal contact and when turned on it stings at those points. The pads are better but they have the same problem, especially if you go past 30; which isn't strong enough. Also the large pads are not flexible enough to adhere properly. We have a tens 7000 and the pads with it (and most other tens brands) have a small coated wire in the pad and therefore are must better. This company should change. I like the foot (sole) feature. As with a lot os of offshore goods the directions are poorly translated into English. There are thousands of ethnics born in North Ameriaca but are fluent in their native language. They should write the manuals. I tried to get a Kendal manual on line but struck out. The automode feature is good but it is not explained. Figured it out but it should be explained. Nice not to need batteries. I am not trashing this product. The different modes it has especially for the sole feature is super and the price is really good for it's advanced features.
