I got the 6" ruler and I use it for miniatures rather than quilting or fabrics. I wanted a firm straight edge that I could see through and this ruler truly does stay in place because of the treatment on the underside. Stays put yet easy to slide to a new position.

Love it. Won’t buy any other brand from now on. The grippiness is perfect. It is easily moved when you are lining things up but won’t slip if even light pressure is applied.

Creative Grids are my favorite rulers, and I'm ruler-obsessed. This is a handy size. The quarter-inch is handy for marking the corners of bindings and doesn't take up much room next to your sewing machine. Highly recommend this as all Creative Grids rulers.

Now that I've replaced all my basic rulers with Creative Grids, I'm slowly adding some more specialty ones. I bought this one for use in Bonnie Hunter's 2018 mystery quilt - it had a bajillion 1.5" wide strip sets and this was perfect. Plus I know I'll use it in future projectes too.

Wouldn’t buy another brand of ruler for quilting.

Item was ordered in early December as a Christmas gift for a family member that quilts but took nearly a month to arrive. I was horrified when the item arrived, which is barely the same size as a pen, yet cost $27. Like many artistic activities, this is another example of suppliers taking advantage of unknowing buyers and charging absurdly high prices for niche items.
