Stain Solver Oxygen Bleach Cleaner (2.2 Pounds)

So, I tried this on a clothing stain and was not more impressed than with Oxy-clean.THEN I had a full glass of red wine that spilled on my good living room rug, only I was not told about it until the next day — about 18 hrs later.I dissolved the powder in hot water and blotted the stain with a terry cloth rag. The stain practically disappeared. Like seriously. A little more intentional rubbing/blotting and it was completely gone. It’s been almost a month and the stain has not come back nor has dirt collected in the area of the stain. I’m overjoyed.

My 10 year old bluestone patio pavers had never been properly washed. I used 8 scoops in 5 gallons of warm water and scrubbed with a stiff long-handled brush. Waited 15 minutes and scrubbed again. Most of the algae and leaf stains came out and I could see the colors in the stone. If I had washed again, I think they would have looked like new. I will use this treatment again in the fall. Worth using.

Well, I've sent one review already, but I'm being asked again so here goes: The product was somewhat disappointing although I do admit it did the job better than any of the other suggestions I read about online. The grout between the stone tiles in the bathroom have turned very dark (unevenly, so it isn't just age, it has to be stains). I read to try everything from mouthwash to toothpaste with whitener. Didn't work. This product did work quite a bit better but not as well as I had hoped. Perhaps a second attempt will do the trick. But, like I said, it does look far better than it did.

Due to the high price of this product I decided to do a comparison test. I wanted to clean some very dirty/stained grout. Marked areas as a and b, mixed this product and another "oxygen bleach" in gallon containers using the same amount of product and the same temperature water. I applied each to an area of grout. There were differences in how they mixed but the first difference in was in action. This product immediately began to 'bubble' dirt out of the grout; only slight change in color appeared with other. After a few minutes I scrubbed lightly with a grout brush, then using a floor cleaner vacuumed up the liquid and completed with using clear water in the floor cleaner to rinse. To make a long story short, they both worked. This product was faster and required less scrubbing. If your time and energy are more important than the cost difference I would highly recommend this product.

I was trying to eliminate grout stains in my shower stall. The dark stains stood out against a tan colored grout. I used Stain Solver per the instructions, which were easy to follow. Although I believe the general cleanliness of the grout lines was improved, the Stain Solver mixture was not able to remove the stains for which I purchased the product. I will, over time, use Stain Solver for other applications but it is limited in its' ability to remove stains from grout. Since I have not used in in other applications, I cannot rate it higher than 3 stars at this time. To be honest, nothing else has worked to remove these stains.

I bought this product to take stains off grout in my slate tile entry way. The previous owners had sealed it all after the dirt had set in (and it appeared the stains got there before any grout sealer was done at all), and I had been unsuccessful removing the stains until now. (I had tried 3-4 other times, devoting hours each time.)First I removed the seal with a chemical remover. Then I used the strongest recommended mix of Stain Solver, according to the directions.Stain Solver removed 98% of the stains, and made my entry way look amazing. I probably spent six hours at this, including removing the seal (which requires coating small sections of the floor and waiting 20 minutes or more for the solution to penetrate). I used some of the leftover solution for my linoleum in the kitchen.After the entryway was complete, I resealed the tile to protect all my work.

I've never seen a product work this fast and this well! My son had gotten a stain on his brand new (worn 3 hours) Mets baseball jersey. Nothing removed the stain - we soaked, tried every combination of cleaners and pretty much gave up. On a lark, I googled stain removers and this product came up. I read the reviews, and figured "why not - my tile floors were pretty grungy too!" 3 days later the jar arrived and I tried it on my kitchen floors first. Not 5 minutes went by when I was amazed! It was actually fun watching the dirt come off the floor and out of the grout lines. My 10 year old tile floor looks new and the Mets jersey is clean too.I bought the small 2 lb jar thinking it would be enough. My next purchase will be of the giant container to clean my deck and siding come spring!
