When only the LCD is broken, you can still use the touch screen, but the screen will have dark blobs or some dark liquid. And you CAN NOT see the image clearly or wholly. When both LCD and touch screen are damaged, you will see both of transparent spider webs and dark liquid, and maybe some parts of the LCD may display the image, but you will incur obvious difficulties in using the device as normal. Perfect fit for T440s
This was a drop-in replacement for the ThinkPad T440s. Display is very bright, colors are vibrant, and image is very sharp. I'm very pleased with this display so far. It's only been in for a couple of weeks so longevity is unknown but right now it is a very good upgrade for the original 1600x900 display.

Great fit for my T440p laptop
Great fit for my T440p laptop. Replaced the old screen which took only a few minutes. This one has 99% RGB color gamut and is very bright. One downside - PWM visible on some backgrounds.
