Good product. A couple of comments
This fit both a type1 and a 1a ladder without difficulty. Its slightly off level on my type 1 but not so you'd notice when standing on it. Supports my 233# frame without feeling unstable. Mine came missing the 2 nuts and washers (Metric M-10 bolts rolling loose in the box) but that meant that I avoided one potential problem someone else mentioned. I replaced everything with 5/16" bolts, 1/4" flat washers and 5/16" Nylon locking nuts, so I won't see a problem with the hardware loosening over time. I did all that because I couldn't find metric locking nuts. Lucky me.Still a good product, steel but amazingly light for a #400 rating.

SAFER ladder!!!!!
Feel unsafe/uncomfortable on a ladder??? Try this!!! I have used one for decades and LOVE it. GREAT work platform

Not safe as is
As one other reviewer noted, this is not a professional product. I would not trust this to stand on as the lip that holds onto the rung hardly has any purchase. If you bounced at all, it could come loose with potentially serious consequences. Plus, the cut out for the rung is only a couple inches, not a rung width, so it does not sit level (not sure it would even in if the cut out was correct). Nonetheless, everything else on here is exactly the same. I'm going to weld my own hooks onto it so it is secure, and extend/adjust so it is level. How easy it would be to make it work correctly in the first place!

Very handy step
This ladder platform is extremely handy it can also double as seat on second step. Or work platform I have used this platform on a couple different ladders. One was step ladder and the other little giant folding ladder. I worked great on both.

Very good quality
This is a very stable platform that as an older woman I really like. I got it for my Little Giant 17' ladder and it works great when using the ladder as an "A frame". I obviously did not think this through enough, I had to climb up the back side of the ladder and step over the top to stand on the platform on the side I wanted to work on. I don't see how I could safely use this when the ladder is in the straight position. Maybe someone could explain how to do it safely.
