Finally, my search for a white salt lamp is over. Brought this with the dimmer switch at first but felt the light was not bright enough for my needs so I returned it and invested in the on/off switch one instead and it has not disappointed. Lovely shape, good size and light is bright.You get a warm white bulb with it which gives off a nice warmish glow but if your looking for a iceberg white glow then buy a cool white bulb for it. Only two negatives I have is that 1. The base is abit tricky to get back in place once you remove it to change the bulb on count of the fixtures you have to squeeze and 2. where the base is fitted to the salt, you can see the screws thru the gap but only noticeable when you have it at close range. It doesn't affect the lamp or performance at allOverall happy with purchase and customer service from the seller.

This is a beautiful lamp which brings a touch of nature to your room. Although very ambient, the lamp itself isn't very bright at all and did not give me the illumination I wanted. I have a small room and this still failed to illuminate my whole room even though I have used himalayan lamps in the past of a similar size which had illuminated my whole room. This isn't a bulb issue as I have tried switching the bulbs with a brighter one and it didn't make a difference. However although this is a negative for me, if you want to use this as a soft nightlight it's perfect. I wanted to use it for work too but it's not very ideal. The top of the lamp doesn't light up at all so I used a knife and sandpaper to cut some of the salt off and this made a big difference which is why I'm happy with it overall. If you want something soothing to your eyes and ambient I can't recommend anything other than this. Being real himalayan, it looks stunning and you can see the different textures. It is very heavy although not big and looks insane. The white salt is just what I wanted for my white desk, it all looks very clean and has completed my work space set up. When it's lit, the light reflects beautifully off of my white gloss surface and enhances the gloss. Just wish it was a tad bit brighter to improve functionality. It's nice that it comes with a dimmer which is easy to use and seems durable. I've had this for over a few weeks now and leave the light on throughout the night, and the bulb is going good.

I just absolutely love the look of this lamp. It gives off a soft pink/orange glow that is so relaxing while winding down for bed.I like that it has a dimmer so I can choose the exact brightness that is comfortable. It isn't bright like a reading lamp even when on full brightness, but I prefer that, and you can look at it directly and appreciate it without it hurting your eyes.I appreciate that wood has been used for the base (there is plastic for the light fitting but it is hidden). There is something so calming about your light source emitting from something made of natural materials.The bulb fixture fits snugly into the base. Nothing poor quality about the fittings.It gets slightly warm when it has been on for a while, enough to evaporate the moisture in the salt. It is not hot to the touch, which I am glad about as when I heard that it is the heat of the bulb that causes the evaporation I was worried it would be a fire risk.It came very well packaged, lots of padding in the box and it was shrink wrapped with a silica sachet to prevent it getting damp during storage.The size I chose was the 2-3 kg and it is perfect for my small bedside table. I would absolutely buy this again.

I've previously had a salt lamp which lasted a long time but split in two recently. I looked at many and settled on this one. I'm not disappointed. It's a good height with a lovely orange hue. The only drawback for me is the 3 prongs on the base which have to be pinched together to insert or remove the bulb. With arthritic hands I needed help. Otherwise it's lovely.

It’s heavy , a beautiful colour orange, dimmable or gives lots of light. Very good value for money.

I bought this to provide a soft light at night. The lamp functions as intended and the dimmer switch is useful, however, the additional benefits really make this stand out. Not only does the lamp bear a resemblance to the holy stone, it actually provides healing to those who pass within two to three feet of it. Yes, this class two relic is a must for anyone who needs a soft light at night. Whether any of the stated health benefits are factual or not would be an ecumenical matter. Eddie would approve.

I bought two of these as gifts. Both recipients were really impressed, in particular my daughter as she suffers terribly with hayfever. Only been used a few days but she feels her symptoms have lessened since using the lamp. She loves the crisp white colour e we hen not in use and the the golden glow when turned on. The brightness can be changed which is great so can be used as a decent lamp or as a night glow. Great price for a good sized salt lamp. I’ll definitely be buying more.

I spent a while researching which one to get after my previous lamp broke - it was more of a basket with blocks of salt in which was lovely but this is a whole new level. I love the dimmable feature, perfect for first thing in the morning and also the evening. It’s a good quality switch too. The salt itself is beautiful. I am very pleased with it.
