Great holster
I purchased this holster to try and edc my super redhawk alaskan. The holster is VERY well made and reasonably priced. It is definitely snug when you first get it so follow the break in instructions provided when you first get it. It has great retention and supports the Weight of the loaded gun quite well. All in all I'm vert happy with my purchase.

Impressive
Keep in mind that I got this holster today so I cannot speak to durability. However this thing is NICE! I carried a ruger alaskan (.44 mag snub nose) all day today working around the yard. It is a massive gun and it is comfortable even setting. I am very pleased with the holster so far. It is by no means discreet but this gun is not intended to be.

Great if you can wear it.
I got this holster for my Ruger Alaskan .454 casull. The holster was a little tight at first, but now it's appropriately snug, and the button snaps without difficulty.So it's a great holster ... if you can wear it. I can't. The Alaskan is not a lightweight weapon, and I've got a middle-aged paunch. If I wear my belt tightly enough to hold this gun and holster up, then it hurts my stomach and I look like a mushroom.That's not the holster's fault, so I don't hold a grudge. I'm pleased with the appearance of the leather and the fit. I'm just better off carrying the gun in a chest rig.

Very good quality.
Made of very good quality leather. Form fitting. I’ve read some people’s reviews of the holster being too tight but there’s a retention screw, just below the space for the trigger guard. It takes two flathead screws to adjust.

Perfect fit, smells great, looks great.
I love it! It’s exactly what I wanted. The only issue I have is that I wish you could take the plastic plate off and it had holes for a belt loop on the leather. But it’s ok it will work great.

Snap broke on first use
The leather quality, as well as the packaging, indicates a product that is well thought out, however the snap broke on its very first use. Would hate to see that happen when I’m out on in the wilderness. Unfortunately, I do not have confidence in their products because of this. As they say, “ a chain is only as strong as its weakest link”.
