Medieval Godfred Viking Celtic Battle Sword Stainless

My grandson was overwhelmed when he opened this birthday gift. He is really fascinated with swords, and this one is the 'real deal'! Of course, we had to round the sharp end off with a grinder as he's just 10 years old! It was an excellent quality sword!

I was quite anxious about getting this sword. When I opened it I found it was a good sturdy sword but the width of the blade was different, the scabbard was black, not brown, and looked kinda cheap due to the silver screws holding in the bronze colored pieces. While it is still a cool sword, don't expect to get what is pictured. I wish I could exchange for what they are advertising.

Quality of the blade was ok. Not a full tang. Scabbard was not real leather and the decorations were held on with steel Phillip's head screws. Clashed with the brass color severely and stood out. But I was able to modify with brass nails that I aged to fit better.

its a good sward for the money, however not overly accurate. Good for wall hanging.

This is one of the best swords i have ever owned and i would love to get another sword as time permits

i ordered this for a friend for a birthday gift as he like me is a sword fighter, if you know someone who loves vikings or is a sword fighter this is a gift you must get them
