Very poor connection
Bad connection translate to bad sound quality. On and off charging of my ipod. Do not recommend.

Worked for a little while
Performed as intended for a few weeks, then stopped working. Connectors do not click in place which may be part of the problem. Also did not work after a Siri command. The in-dash integration with my 2010 XTerra was clunky at best, so I decided a lightning splitter with power and aux cable inputs [Belkin Lightning to 3.5mm Audio Cable + Audio Charger Splitter] was a better option.

Works with 2008 Mercedes E350
I have a 2008 Mercedes-Benz with the 30 pin iPod adapter. I bought an Apple 30-pin to Lightning adapter, which would let me use a newer iPhone/iPod with the factory stereo. Unfortunately, while the music worked, the phone did not charge. This little device solved that problem. I placed it between the 30-pin car adapter and the Apple 30-pin to Lightning adapter and now the phone charges while playing music.

Solved an old problem for me.
I have an old Pioneer AVIC N3 car stereo with the Apple iPhone integration. It was built in the day when iPhones had a 30-pin connector. I've long since upgraded my phone and got an Apple 30-pin to lightning adapter, which works fine except for one thing: it doesn't charge the phone. Not normally a big deal, except on long trips when the phone dies. This solves the problem. 30-pin cable to Charging Converter to 30-pin-to-lightning adapter. Micro USB to USB cable plugged into the side of the Charge Converter, and into a USB port on the center console. Sounds convoluted, but all the cabling is tucked away except for the lightning cable. I retain all control and audio functions of the iPhone, and now it charges while it plays. It's a little pricey for what it is, but it solved a problem that's been bugging me for years.

Works perfectly!
I have a 2008 Mercedes e350 with a 30 pin AUX connector in the glove box. I wanted to connect a new blue tooth device to it, but it required power, so this unit was essential. Now I can stream Amazon Prime music from my iPhone 11 through my car’s AUX!
