So, mostly waterproof, reliably slip proof. Could double as a torture device.Okay, I'm exagerating. But only a bit. These are the second least comfortable shoes I have worn in recent history.Now I'll confess, I'm a big guy (6'4", 260lbs) and being on my feet for 16 hours for my double shift is gonna be hard regardless of the shoe (although I've done 12 hours in Reebok Athletic shoes with no issue.) But the insoles in these are pretty thin, and the raised heel pad leaves an indentation that is still sore to the touch on the following day, and causes minor pain in my ankle.I plan to buy and install a memory foam insole and hopefully these will be less painful afterwards.

My dad's been wearing these shoes for years, and he loves them. They're non-slip, and wears them all day every day. Each pair lasts him about 6 months. He works in the food industry, so the fact that he can throw the shoes away after use is good. They smell like food oil because of his environment.

good shoe handles many potential slip hazards with no issue.i will say tho sheet ice and moist foods like mushrooms do tend to still cause minor slipping. In addition to its anti slip properties its very comfy for long hours of standing or walking. mine are extra wide allowing enough space to not cramp my large flat feet.

The upper side of each shoe are different, One of them looks leather and the other one looks synthetic. The differenceis very visible

I used to be a security guard at a men's store back in 2001. I immediately realized after standing up for 9 hours a day, my feet were not going to last a week in this job. I went to a payless store down from where I worked. The guy suggested these shoes. I couldn't believe how comfortable they felt. Make a long story short.... I no longer work in security, but 17 years later I'm still wearing these. For incredible comfort, these shoes are priceless.

I've worn these shoes since 2011, and am on my third pair now. Just received 4 new pair so I have these for almost the rest of my life! ( I am 70) Payless Shoes closed in Canada in 2018, and I am -so- happy that Amazon.com and Payless USA offers these great ground grippers.These shoes last under hard conditions, are very comfy walkers, stylish and just need a bit of polish now and then to keep looking great. Mom told me if I ever found shoes I love, to buy several pair of them. As always, she was completely, annoyingly right. Listen to Mom, your feet and your wallet: buy these shoes.

I work at Starbucks so I’m always on my feet and constantly moving around. These leave my feet feeling super sore for shifts lasting longer than 6 hours. I often work 8 hour shifts and come home having my feet feeling sore. Previous Sketchers never had me feeling so sad (even though the Sketchers brand fell apart on me). I would only recommend this item to someone looking for a cheap and quick fix. Otherwise spend more on a nicer product that won’t leave your feet feeling neglected after a hard working day.

I've always loved safeTsteps for their excellent slip resistance (best in the market imo) but within the last few years I've noticed durability is slipping. These were the worst example; two months of wearing and one of the soles (left shoe) is literally falling off. It's about halfway down the shoe now and flops around as I walk, worsening the problem. I'm going to buy some shoe glue and try to fix it back up, because they grip as well as always, but it's a definite docking on the review stars. Even if it's just a defect, that's really bad. Still, if grip is your goal any of safeTstep 's lineup works great.

The fit is great, they are light and comfortable, my one issue is that the bottom sole is great for traction however small pebbles and rocks get stuck in the grooves when walking outside.

The shoes fit very well, no adjustment for my feet. First day wore them for 9 hours and felt as comfortable as my old shoes
