These work somewhat. They take the edge off, basically. The picky Poodle mutt will eat them, and that's saying something as it is. I ended up just adding a couple drops of Valerian root tincture to her water bowl each day and I get the same results for a lot less per day. She's just over ten pounds, so I add three individual drops to her bowl. This gives me the same results as these bones. If you'd rather use the bones, they did calm her down...not so much she wasn't nervous or barky at all....just noticeably less so, and enough to make it easier to distract her and work to alter the unwanted behavior.
