Best Cacao powder I ever had

Hi, my name is "Somebody Like You" and I'm a Chocoholic..... ("hi, Somebody").I've been buying Ghirardelli and other big brand chocolate powders for years, as I love chocolate milk, hot cocoa, mochas, etc......... but recently, I'd found that the quality of my mass-purchased mass-produced chocolate was leaving something to be desired. They are generally loaded with sugar and all kinds of other stuff that I'd really rather NOT have if I can avoid.So I got this crazy idea-- get plain and simple raw/organic cacao powder, and sweeten it with honey. WOW. I'm never going back. Three heaping teaspoons of this, three teaspoons of raw honey, about 16 oz of raw milk, a whole lot of hand-stirring (I enjoy the process, but you may choose to use a hand-blender or regular blender), and you have 3 ingredient, sweetened to taste (3 tsp honey leaves it nicely bittersweet for my tastes, you may want more/less), chocolate milk (or hot cocoa if heated). The taste is rich and smooth, and it actually leaves me feeling somewhat nourished (relative to the big sugar hit that I normally feel after a big-brand drink) and energized. Can't say for sure if I'm feeling the actual "superfood" effects or just enjoying the simplicity and lack of sugar, but I'm NEVER. GOING. BACK.This stuff ROCKS my chocoholic world!

I have bought this brand of cacao powder and it has always been fine, but this batch smells like it was packaged in a facility that produces curry powder! I wanted to return it but no returns allowed for this product! Now I'll have curry scented smoothies for months because I bought a three pound bag!!!UPDATE: Either the company, Natural Planet, or Amazon refunded me!

So much better than some of the chocolate products out there, it this taste the real thing.

we usually buy this one, but something is off! It did not taste the same at all. = smelled almost like cucumin. decided to purchase another one which I always love, but they do not have the bigger bag, which is much more convenient.

I wrote a review but couldn't find it to update. I had a small packaging problem but it was big to me. WITHOUT ASKING this company sent me a repacement package. Now tell me how awesome is that! Really!!! I like this product a lot even before I receive the replacement. So much so I have recommended it to family and friends.I have battled Lyme disease for almost a decade, and for some reason I can no longer drink coffee, (sobbing sounds). Well i now drink an awesome iced decaf black tea mocha latte that is to die for!! Honestly people don't pick up right away that it's tea. And they love it! And btw you know that expensive chocolate milk in the glass bottle... You can make your own healthier version with this!!! I love this product!!! I am sure you will too!!! AND lol as crazy as this sounds I feel the benefits of the magnesium and other nutrients 😊😊😊. Buy this now 😊

I buy the powdered cocoa and I have a heaping teaspoon at least once per day in a smoothie with a frozen banana, almond milk, spinach, walnuts, carrots, and a few ice cubes. I feel like I am having a chocolate shake for breakfast each morning. Sometimes, I have the same for lunch! Yes, I am in a rut. It's a good product.

While this was a good deal for the amount you get it did have a slight stale flavor. Not enough for me to send it back but still not as fresh as it should be
