Brilliant Silver White Hair Toner Blonde & Grey Hair It Works Like Magic 15 Ml Bottle

This product really works!!I was skeptical because I'd only spent tons of money at salons or used peroxide color in the past so how could a little bottle of violet tone down the brassy old color on my hair? Well low and behold, it worked.Background - I have long brownish hair that I've been coloring for 20 or so years. Just over a year ago, I decided to transition to grey and paid a LOT of money for a colorist to strip my hair to as close to its natural grey as possible. It did look great but within a few months, the difference between my new growth grey and the stripped "grey" was really distracting. My stylist told me I'd have to "tone" regularly because she couldn't keep stripping my old growth or it would fry my hair. I had her tone in the salon once and it looked nice but didn't last more than a few washings. I moved so that it wasn't convenient to see her so I arranged to have her send me a toner kit - which costs me $50. Her toner smelled strong (like a hair color) and the results were ok...not as noticeable as I'd hoped.Then someone in my grey FB group mentioned this toner and I was thrilled to find it on Amazon. I just applied it and WOW - easy and results were definitely noticeable. Now I'm not going for completely grey hair - I'm okay with the way it is growing out but I needed to tone down the brassy old growth and this item does it. (I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about - it works and the instructions are really easy - there is a YouTube video of someone applying it and it literally takes 30 seconds!).I'm about to order another (larger) bottle because this is going to save me a fortune AND will help me live through the next year or more as my hair grows out.BEST OF ALL - it is cruelty FREE!!! Everything I was looking for!

Even following the directions, this product will turn natural white hair slightly purple. Rinse well, and be careful of how much product you use. It is easy to use and apply, but the ability to reduce yellow brassy-looking greys could be better managed with this product. If you have pure white hair, you will have some purple tint.

I have been using this miracle worker in a bottle for about 10 years now and I have a lot of gratitude for its existence! As someone who often resorts to highlighting her own hair and never quite getting away without an aftermath of brass I am very pleased to have this product in my cabinet to come to the rescue as needed! I use it to maintain some cooler tones about once every 2 weeks. I have tried countless other products including silver shampoos etc but nothing is as easy and no nonsense as this! I grab a water bottle and fill it up with water and put some drops in (be careful not to put too many in before you become familiar with its strength or you will have purple hair!) and I just pour it onto my hair in the shower and dry as usual and it’s done! You can use this to spot correct any areas also. I wouldn’t use it too frequently as it does contain alcohol which can dry your hair/scalp out. It will temporarily stain your hands/sink if you use it very concentrated so be careful about that. I’ve not had any issues with my scalp/hairline turning purple though, even when using it slightly more concentrated.This will take light blonde to platinum with very little effort so if that’s your goal, use it!It will not do much to correct the brassy tones in darker blondes.This bottle lasts quite a long time because it’s pretty concentrated so a little goes a long way!Highly recommend! 👍🏻

I find that this product is way more concentrated than any purple shampoo or rinse I've used in the past. This is just a rinse but be careful how much you use. Use less than you think you should to begin with.

I have 100% grey hair that is more white in front and prone to yellowing there and on the front sides despite purple shampoos and conditioners. I made the mistake of getting a weave to blend the front and back and reduce the unsightly yellow. Sadly, it was a disaster. The weave areas were bright lemon yellow after bleaching and a Redken EQ toner (09T) to neutralize the yellow made it look blended but dull. After the first wash (using sulfate-free shampoo) the yellow began showing through again, leaving even more yellow that contrasted badly with my grey.I just tried this product using 10 drops/liter. I will say my hair is much better blended, but has a distinct purple cast (which is actually an improvement overall). However, the yellow bleached areas are still quite discolored, so although the product helps it did not completely neutralize the yellow. I can’t use more than the 10 drops since that much gave the purple cast, but next time I may try to use a higher concentration on just those yellow areas by applying with a paint brush. Overall I’m very pleased and will continue to use this. It’s inexpensive, simple, and blended my front and back colors together. I’d been warned by another hairdresser about bleaching grey hair but was desperate. I’m sorry I didn’t know about this product before I had that done as I think it would have eliminated the original discoloration perfectly.
