Extended Z-Wave network by just plugging it in
I had a problem with intermittent connectivity for some Z-Wave devices away from the house. This extended my Z-Wave network such that all of those devices maintain a good connection.I took one star off because there is no Smartthings device handler available. I was able to find some advanced documentation and created my own Smartthings device handler for this. This allows me to see if the night light is on or off and to control the ambient light sensor thresholds from within Smartthings.

Exactly what we needed.
We installed a really expensive GE ZWave outdoor multimeter switch that worked off and on for a few months with Smarthings then just stopped connecting altogether. I was at my wit's end because I can't move the location of the hardwired box or the location of my hub. Then I found this little lifesaver! Plugged it in and it connected and worked immediately. It extends the signal through a foot thick concrete wall and 3 interior walls. The Metered switch responds instantly now. I could but be happier!

Completely satisfied
I recently began having difficulty operating my GoControl for the doors on my detached garage. The problems started after my ISP changed by router. Not saying that had anything to do with it, but i had very few problems beforehand.Anyway i kept trying to resolve the issues, including excluding and reinstalling and finally came to the conclusion that the problem was signal related.Decided to try the Dome extender, ordered it 12/1 & it was delivered 12/4.Easy set up and once i reset tbe openers in Smartthings, all 4 began working properly. My hub is downstairs but i installed the extender on an upstairs window. So far so good!

Works great, can be powered via 5v (USB)
I have been looking for a Z-wave repeater that can be powered via DC for use with remote sensors. I have this setup with solar and a battery to get sensors in my shed to connect. Only thing I wish was that it didn't have a light, or there was a option to turn off the light.

Works good
Used to extend my samsung hub. Was easy to pair and the range is good. Used to extend to backyard door sensors. I positioned this on other side of house but the location was about the same distance from this as it was the hub. Before, the signal would not reach while the door was closed. After, i have a very strong signal

Doesn`t increase signal
It communicated with my device but did not improve.... signal was poor 75 feet from my outlet. They noted 400 feet I have to disagree ...

It's an extender... and it works with door locks.
If you're looking for an extender for your Z-Wave door lock, this is the one you want. And I spent time digging through the Z-Wave spec sheets to sort this one out, and can confirm that, yes, it works 100% with my BE469. Other than that, it's a fairly basic Z-Wave extender. Range is good but not great, and the night light feature is a nice touch.
