Pretty good hourglass for the money
This hourglass is what it is...a decent product that's less than $10. Mine had an unusual film that developed on the inside of the glass, probably from the sand, that made the glass look less than clear, so I drilled out one end and dumped out the sand and now it's crystal clear. The pictures don't show it, but the ends aren't flat, so you can't take it out of the frame and use it by itself, but if you don't care about that, it's no big deal.

Quality product
It's very nice. Looks good on my desk and is functional.One of my co-workers talks a lot, so i got this as a timer to use in our meetings. Whenever he starts talking, i just tell him he's got 5 minutes and flip it over. I love it! :)

Ok quality. Sand doesn't always remain fluid. Decent for the price. I bought this for our store as a curiosity and people enjoy messing with it.

I wanted a 5-minute timer
I wanted something to easily and quietly time 5 minutes. While the description and the box claim 5 minutes, it takes 6 minutes and 20 seconds for the sand to run through. That is about 25% longer than what I require, so this is utterly worthless for my needs and will be returned. It is quiet and does look nice though.

Nice modern look
Cool desk addition. You can't really see the sand filtering through very well, but nonetheless it is a slick looking hour glass for the price.

A quality product.
The item arrived promptly and as described. It's well made and sturdy. I like that the glass sand timer is enclosed by the wood closure to prevent breakage.
