Nice grip feature for easy removal/insertion
I've used a divacup for several years and I'm very happy to have switched over. It's easier, cleaner and more environmentally friendly, plus it's saved quite a lot of money. This cup is a nice high grade silicone with good engineering. It has an easy to grip stem that isn't too long (I had to clip my original cup because the length of the stem kept poking me) and the rings around the outside make it very easy to grasp and remove, one of the problems I frequently ran into when I started.I didn't like that the package insert (it doesn't say the same thing online) says it's for "women who have not yet begun their sexual lives" - ridiculous. It's a small size, and vaginal size has absolutely nothing to do with having sex - that's an urban legend that doesn't deserve to be repeated and is harmful to many young women. In fact, as an older woman, married form many years and plenty sexually active, I found this cup to be slightly large for me, if anything. If this fits you, great, it means nothing whatsoever about your sex life.

Like the idea but not sold 100%
I'm a mother of three. I was sent a size small to try out so I can't rate the difference between the two sizes. Please keep this in mind when reading my review. This cup comes in a nice little bag with instructions. However, English isn't the manufactures first language, so that made me a bit worried after I received this and read those instructions. You have to fold it (there are three recommended folds to put it inside), and then it supposedly opens up and collects the menstrual flow. It would be best if you were comfortable about reaching inside yourself to adjust and make sure the cup opens up correctly to get the right fit, so this doesn't leak. The cup stayed in, and I couldn't feel it at all. This says with a "normal" period you only have to change it twice. I'm heavy around day 2 and/or 3, so I find I have to empty every couple of hours (3 to 4) using the small cup. This says leak proof, however, to be very blunt when it's full you'll know because it starts leaking no matter if you get the fit right. To remove it you have to reach in there and squeeze the bottom of the cup to release the suction, and then you pull it out. Ideally, if you only have to do this every 12 hrs, it's not so bad, but given I have to do this more often on one or two of my flow days, I find it a bit messy and not convenient when at work. The silicone material is soft and comfortable. I do still use tampons or pads on my heavy days. I'm going to try a large to see if that works on my heavy days as I like the idea of these.

seems decent
have seen these on amazon but, am kinda set in my ways and just could never get myself to buy and try one out. when i saw this small size pink one available to try out, decided well i have nothing to really lose so gave it a go.-when received it had no real smell - a good thing for i would of automatically threw it in trash if it had a strong chemical/dye smell.-it was thankfully not as big as i thought these cups were going to be so that made me confident that i will be able to actually use this.-it came with a nice pink bag to store cup in durin non-uses.-i more than likely will trim down the balled thing on cup, i already know that i will feel it so it will bother me down there when sitting.-looked at directions and there are 3 ways to fold this cup but, to me only 2 cause the V shape and the C shape look the same?? either way, the C shape seems will be the easiest for i couldn't get the 'tampon' fold to stay put when i pretending to insert it.Have already boiled cup in purified & then boiled water and it is ready to be tested during my cycle that unfortunetely finished up 2 days before this arrived so i will not be able to test it in time for now but, will update how easy or not so easy it was for an older beginner to use & if it worked or not worked as expected (no leaks/falling out/etc)update 4/13: finally got my period (was really late for i am every 3wks usually) and this turned out to be a learning experience for sure in a way.-on my first try: I use 'c' shape, it was a cinch to insert and seemed to opened up fine since it had suction and i didn't leak....however, i could not go urinate, like what the heck. took forever drizzling away and i still didn't feel done. about 2 hours later i started feeling odd down there so went to bathroom and decided to take cup out and hmmm it got sucked up in me so far up that i had to go digging in there to pull it out, had my fingers been shorter i would of needed a tool to get it out!! and also as i pulled it out, my bladder automatically emptied out on me, yup i apparently was not done going last time lol. Well decided to be brave and cleaned off cup and used it again but, this time i had issues getting it to open up because i was trying to put it in as low as i could so to not push on my bladder nor get sucked up again. took over 7 tried to finally do so after i stood up after inserting, sat back down, stood up and sat back down to get it to position right. So far so good and i am able to go #1 about 80% like normal so am okay with that however, am not okay with cup getting sucked up farther up in me still that just bothers me so guess i need to go learn why that is, perhaps the cup size i gather. anyhows while trying to educate myself, i found a great resourceful site with all kinds of info/videos from two young ladies, recommend checking it out if you are new to this too. i don't believe we can put outside links on here so look up 'put a cup in it' if you need help (how i fixed my going #1 issue)

I will never go back to traditional products
This was my first experience with a menstrual cup. I don't think I will ever use anything else now. It was such an amazing experience! My cycle is relatively heavy the first day or two and then it lightens up. The small cup was more than enough for me. The first day I used it, I emptied it out twice because I wasn't sure. After that, I was able to empty it out just in the morning and at night. It was easy to get used to using it. The hardest part was initially figuring out how to put it in. It isn't difficult. You basically need to pinch it up to a smaller, long shape and insert. Once it is pushed up high enough it expands and seals. I had no leakage at all when I used this. I also did not have a problem when emptying it. I was careful and at a sink or in the tub each time. This product made my life so much easier. It also eliminated a lot of my cramps. I love it and I will be using it from here on out. I highly recommend this menstrual cup.
