Impressive Board and Kit for the Money
Impressed! The SUP was shipped quickly and arrived on time. Packaging was excellent (double-boxed) and protected the contents. The SUP itself was safe and secure in the backpack, with shrink wrap and foam offering extra protection. Instructions are simple and clear. The paddle is intuitive and of reasonably good quality for a kit paddle; minimal wiggle and not sloppy, not overly heavy and seems well made. The leash is much nicer than I expected for a kit. Thumbs up!The backpack is also well made and obviously well thought-out. Grab handles are well positioned, workmanship looks good, the wheels appear to be of good quality, zippers work well and seem fairly tough. I really like the large pocket on the front, and the pocket on each side. It's also oversized so you can easily stuff extra gear in.The pump is considerably better than anticipated. The hose attaches easily, the handle is comfortable, and the dual-action works well.Now...about the board...simply put, it's GREAT! Fit and finish is exceptional and everything is clean and well executed. The deck pad is straight and solid, and very grippy. D-Rings are very solid and well placed. The fin appears to be very durable, and fits snugly into the fin box. The attachment screw is simple and easy to use, and rock solid. I inflated the board to 10 psi in about 5 minutes, then about another 3 or 4 to get it to 15 psi. Getting it to 18 took another 4 minutes or so. Not bad for a hand pump! Max inflation is 20 psi but I didn't see any reason to pump it up that high at this point. The board was pretty darned solid at 15 psi, and very rigid at 18. Deflation and pack up takes less than 10 minutes (at least in the house :)Paddling/performance impressions to come when the weather turns. So far, for $600 this thing is pretty incredible.

Incomplete patch kit? Otherwise a great find!
Even when ignoring considering the awesome price for this board, it is a quality product! They get you on the price of an electric pump for it though, but it's worth it considering it is hard to pump up a board no matter how good of a manual pump you have. My only complaint is that they send a "patch kit" with it that has a tool for the pump attachment if it should break and an actual piece of material to use as a patch for the board itself, but no adhesive to actually affix it with... nor are there any instructions on what type of adhesive you would need to go find on your own, or how to even do it should you find the right stuff. For future products: add more/bigger gear tie-downs and perhaps make them adjustable. They have rings to let you add a seat, but I've been using them as a cooler tie down when I have gear on the front. Its not ideal, but it works, especially at this awesome price.

Awesome in a variety of conditions...
I conducted extensive research before buying the Manhattan. Everything is as advertised. The previous review is spot on. I opted for the electric pump which easily completed the task of inflation after about 9 minutes of using the well built hand pump...total time 16 minutes. I have about 20 rides on my Manhattan which I kept inflated over a month’s time with temperatures ranging from freezing to 65 degrees and there was no loss of pressure over that time period. I compared overall performance in high winds and chop to perfect conditions and found no meaningful difference when compared to my 14 foot Downwinder. This board is stable and fast! The backpack is simply awesome. I now have the means to pack it in to the Alpine lakes where a much heavier and awkward damage prone straight board will never go. It stores neatly in the back of my Subaru allowing me that impulsive after work trip to the lake when I need an SUP fix. The company owner is highly responsive to emails and seemed invested in my satisfaction with his product. This is the best major purchase I’ve made on Amazon.

An absolute performer that inspires
I've purchased my Nixy Manhattan at the end of last year's season but was having difficulty mastering it on the water. It's an absolutely beautiful looking board, is light and is extremely fast but I've been struggling to balance on it as an amateur. I experimented with the pressure and when I pump it to the low range of 10-12 psi, this board performs like a dream. It is still extremely rigid at this low pressure range even for someone who is 5'10" weighing 206 pounds. But now I have little difficulty balancing on it and this board cuts through water like a knife and accelerate to speed that is absolutely inspiring for water sports thrill seeker.
