Exactly what I wanted. Have the 25-75 and the 125-200. Learned that I’m not as strong as I once was. Lol. That said, both bags are being used. The heaviest is great for picking it up and walking (weighted carries). Holding it differently each time. The smaller is great for repetition work. Overhead presses, various rows and curls. Remember, you’re playing against yourself and not someone else. Set the weights for training your body, not for your ego. I’m currently using about 125, maybe a bit more, in the big bag. I’m over 40 now and I don’t dedicate the same time I once did to lifting. It was tough to reconcile that I needed to drop the weight a bit... but I did. We train our bodies so we can live and feel better. Don’t lose site of that and overdo it.These bags can take abuse. Great quality and for a fair price. As someone who worked many years in the fitness industry and still train for a hobby, I highly recommend these bags.

I am always on the lookout for compact gear I can add to my home gym equipment inventory. A few years ago I added the sandbag. Of course I was looking at prices and most sandbags on the market were a bit pricey.So I went with the less expensive option and purchased a sandbag that advertised a 60-lb. capacity. In less than 2-months it was toast. I repeated this process with the same sandbag a few times and then gave up. I decided to mak my own. I purchased a couple of military duffel bags, filled them up with 70-lbs of crushed tire material and fogurrd I was good to go. It works. It was cheap. It didn’t give me everything I was really looking for in a sandbag though. While it was durable, the dimensions didn’t quite work for many exercises - the homemade sandbag was limiting.I searched Amazon and some of the online specialty equipment companies for a sandbag that would work. This is where I discovered the Garage Fit heavy duty sandbag. I’ve only had the bag for a short time, but I am liking what I have experienced this far.First, the bag material is absolutely tough. It’s like a piece of military equipment and much thicker than the duffel bag. Construction is excellent. I didn’t find any loose stitching or shoddy workmanship. The zipper is not cheap either. This has been a problem on every other sandbag I’ve purchased. Cheap zippers fail. The filler bags are made of the same material as the shell. This is important because the filler bags take a lot of abuse too. I’ve had a lot of them burst in the past.Adjustability is important. It’s easy to adjust the weight of this bag between about 40 and 120 pounds by simply adding or removing a filler bag. My filler bags are not full to the top so they have some give for impact. I can do this quickly which saves time and frustration.If you only get one sandbag for your home gym, get this one. Don’t go with a bargain sandbag. The Garqge Fit heavy duty sandbag is built like a tank. I expect it to take a lot of abuse for years to come.At some point I’ll be getting a smaller sized version of the same bag too. Now stop reading this review and get after it.

"F@!$k this bag". These words I say over and over again and my lungs burn and my muscles scream while I toss this bag around. The bag is amazing. After 6 months of hard use it has a layer of dirt yet it holds. The quality is amazing. I love all of the grip options. Buy one. Work it into your routine. You will not be disappointed. I keep it in my truck and use it at the gym, in a field or wherever I happen to be. When I travel I dump it out and take it with me. Combine this with a TRX system and you have everything you need!! Highly recommended

This is a well made product. Years ago I made my sand bag for strength training using baggies, duct tape, contractor trash bags and an old army duffel bag. There weren't any pre-made items like this one available. Save yourself the hassle and buy the bag! It's better made than anything you could slap together. Sturdy, durable and well thought out.There was a small defect in one of the inner bags when it arrived but the company's customer service responded remarkably well and is sending a replacement. I am impressed all the way around with the product and the folks in customer service.Well done.

Great Sandbag!! This item has enough handles for you to carry it however you wish. It comes with 3 bags that you would need to fill with sand. I bought the same at any local home improvement store. A 60lb bag of sand cost about $5. I filled 2 of the 3 empty bags with about 30lbs of sand. The filled bags fit nicely. The Sandbag has "Heavy Duty" stitching and velcro to keep everything in place. I do recommend this bag for anyone looking to do meter runs with weight or perhaps use it for extra weight in "H.I.T." training. The price is Great and you will be satisfied with this product. Great Quality!

I purchased this since the closing of my gym due to Covid-19. I am a larger man who lifts heavy and thought I would try this out for the first time. I have used the bag now for a month. I purchased three 50 pound bags of sand from the hardware store and filled each of the three bags wit h 50 pounds. Although the bag shows it is only rated up to 125 pounds, I filled each sack with 50 pounds yielding a total weight of 150 pounds plus material. The sand does not leak and the bags are durable. It makes for a ton of great heavy lift exercises and was worth every penny.

Expensive, but worth it. Heavy duty construction has held up well to workouts. Interior sand bags have double velcro seals, and then the bag itself has another velcro seal and a zipper. As far as I can tell, not a grain of sand has come out after a month of use. I wish the bag had one more handle, a single centered handle for one arm exercises, but that's a minor issue.I had planned on removing sandbags during my workouts, and using this as both a 60# and a 40# bag, but pulling the bags takes too long, and with just two bags inside things shift around too much, so I'll be getting a second smaller bag.

Just received this weighted workout bag and my initial thoughts are it seems well built. Stitching and handles look robust enough and it has nice thick velcro seams. I bought some clean pea gravel from a Green House and filled the three filler bags with 40lbs(18.1kg) each. Fitting all 3 bags into the carrying bag was easy with a bit of shifting around.I have only had a chance to use it a few times but I am quite pleased so far with how the bag holds up and also the workout I get from it. Glad I purchased this bag so far, the price range for a 40-120lb bag was just right for something I was not sure I would use or enjoy for a workout.My 4 Star rating is only based on initial thoughts and a few uses, after a few months that could change if it does not stand up to "normal" workout use.

I wanted something that would add some extra dead weight. This was perfect! The sand doesn’t spill out and the packs inside are tough. It has double velcro seals on all joints and it’s heavy duty. Fully loaded this thing packs a punch

This bag is perfect...I put 60 pounds of sand in the liner bags. They seal easily and tightly. After literally throwing it around for a week, there is zero sand on my gym floor! Love it. Great product!
