I bought this for a project one of my shooters to use, and he said:"The extension stick is quite handy, no pun intended! I’ve used it for a couple of projects now. It's pretty basic, looks to be true carbon fiber with metal caps and screw mounts. The 1/4" screw seems to be connected quite well to the cap, and the caps won't break off the pipe/handle. I tested by putting a heavy load on the screw in a horizontal dirction and it didn't break. But, 1/4" screws are not as strong as 3/8" screws, so I'd be careful about using it with heavy loads in any other position than vertical.PROS:• Very lightweight• Solid feeling build quality and good priceCONS:• Only 1/4" screw; other models have reversible 1/4" & 3/8" screw, and are more versatile. 1/4" screw would be the point of failiure, if there were one. Testing should be done to make sure the screw can handle the load.

Good quality, solid construction. I completely feel safe when I put this on my Ronin S. You can also use it on your tripod if you need extra length. I used it in that manner with a video light and it worked very well.

This is a perfectly serviceable arm to hold a small monitor or accessory. It doesn’t have as many articulation points as the more expensive arm, but it gets the job done
