Beautiful, comfortable and high quality clogs
I've had clogs before from different/cheaper brands. These sandgrens clogs are a class of it's own (yes a bit more pricey but the quality is fantastic). I was surprised about how comfortable these clogs are. The footbed seems anatomically extremely well shaped. They're a joy to walk in.The attention to detail, the quality of material and craftsmen-ship is what sets these clogs clearly apart in my view. The upper is a solid, beautiful vegetable tanned leather which feels amazing on the feet. You can't go wrong with a pair of these. Make sure you follow the sizing instructions.

I have to say(as a self professed clog expert) that Sandgren clogs are bar none THE very best clogs there are
I’ve been wearing another brand of clogs for over 20years. I happened across Sandgrens clogs and was immediately intrigued. I have to say(as a self professed clog expert) that Sandgren clogs are bar none THE very best clogs there are! Bravo! I also love the fact they are a small, dedicated family owned business. Love Love Love! I will enthusiastically recommend and continue to buy from this brilliant and amazing company.

Slippery and uncomfortable.
Slippery and uncomfortable. I really wanted to like these shoes. I am a chef that spends minimum 10 hours on my feet. I have these shoes 3 months to break in, and though the wood softened and molded, the lack of ankle support, slippery sole, and painful hard leather never oessened. I would highly recommend a chef not buy these shoes. They would grip only on dry tile. With the slightest water or grease, my shoes would go flying! My big toe has a deep bone bruise from the hard wood, my heel scabbed from constant sliding out while walking with anything more than a slow waltz, and my pinky toe nail black from constant rubbing on hard shell leather. But hey, they look nice. I will email the company for a full refund. Horrible shoe.

1st time clog buyer - surprised and impressed
I love these! I bought open back clogs and normally wear 9.5 (42), however based on other reviews I went a size higher and got 10-10.5 (43). They fit perfectly, not too snug and not too loose.Plus they are surprisingly comfortable. At first I was concerned they would be uncomfortable since the sole is hard wood and the trend in shoes nowadays is to have inserts and/or heavy padding with lots of flex in the sole. Apparently that trend doesn’t matter when the inside form is correct. Who knew??? Apparently this company does. For my needs, “normal” walking/use, they are fine, but I am not standing for hours at a time, so have no opinions about that.Lastly, they look great. Clear attention was given to the details and they look (and are) handmade. Again, they are bucking the trend among shoe manufacturers nowadays for cheap mass production. This is my first pair of clogs so I cannot compare against other brands, but I am 100% satisfied with what I bought and will buy another.

Good bye $200, hello expensive paperweights!
I am a chef by trade and have worn European clogs my entire career. After dealing with some foot discomfort from the traditional Danskos and Sanitas that I have worn, I figured time to spend the big money and get the "right" shoes. I read the size chart, and the size warnings, measured my feet. Then had my sous chef and general manager double check my measurements. I ordered a size 47, perfect can't wait to get my $200 pair of clogs to take away my foot pain and have me walking on air. They arrived, I read the material that came with them. The materials mentioned they would take a couple if days to break in. I put them on, and they felt great. 48 hrs later I could barely keep my feet in them. They didn't break in, the broke out. My shoes went from a comfortable, waiting to break in feeling to, becoming completely unwearable, my feet couldn't even stay in them. When I stand still and align my feet properly I dream of these clogs in the right size, the wooden soles feel amazing on my feet, problem is my feet are either 3-4 inches in front of where they need to be, or are falling out the backs. I wish I had a pair that fit me properly, but I don't have another $200 to spend on another set of future paperweights.

Quality Trad Clogs
Exactly what I expected. Excellent & solid traditional clogs with wood bed.Expect that they will take a some time to break in, ( also your feet need time to get callous in the right places, so don't expect to buy these and wear them for hours and hours and miles, right off: take it easy, these aren't running shoes) and if you are not used to wooden clogs the 1-2 inch "lift" can be a little disconcerting, as can the clip-clop of walking.

I was very apprehensive about purchasing wooden soled shoes because I didn’t know anyone who purchased them. I read manyReviews and mailed over wheather I should take a chance. This went on for several weeks. So I told myself , take a chance.I’m happy I did. The quility is excellent. Today I wore them out for the first time. I am happy I took the chance. I love them and willPurchase again. Thanks for an excellent product. Eddy.

Aesthetics Only
Only good part is: Great looking clog.....but First time ordering and not to satisfied. I have been wearing for 5 weeks, I work in the kitchen about 70 hrs a week. These clogs still hurt my feet, tend to be less resistant to oil and water than other brands. I feel like I’m gonna blow out the sides before summer is done.
