Fantastic Machine!
Yes it has no moving parts and its not digital but it lets me make everything better. I have plenty of digital calipers but this is my absolute go to tool when trying to make stuff fit.

I needed this for a graphic design class and I love it! I want to buy a shorter one that is easy for transporting but this is nice for my at home use!

Best ruler! Love these.
I have used these for graphic design ever since college in the 80s. These are great translucent rulers, accurate and precise. Expensive, but worth it. Can be used on curved or irregular shapes. I use it everyday. I really like this larger 18" version as sometimes the 12" just is not long enough, especially on 11 x 17 spreads.

Schaedlers - great rulers
I have always used this type of rulers for design because I want to be as accurate as possible. They are great, a bit pricey but will last a long, long time. I wish they had a 24" version. If there was something else that would be more precise as this is... i would buy it.
