The blanket is definetly heavy. I got a Queen 20 lb. I've never slept under anything like that. was surprised I got a great nights sleep. Just lying there before I fell asleep, was very comforting...I usually toss & turn all night, but that didn't happen with the weighted blanket. I wish I'd have gotten one a LONG time ago. I love the product. I also stayed pretty damn warm as well.

I like to sleep in a cold room, and this blanket feels like a perfect hug, warm and tight enough. It is DEFINITELY heavy and holds you in place well. My husband is a furnace at night, however, and can't handle it.

It gets a bit hot but overall is comforting and I sleep super well with it during cooler nights (I also live in Florida which doesn’t help)
