Not for the faint of heart.
The product itself is a near perfect replacement. In my opinion it functions exactly as it should. That being said... you need to almost fully breakdown the Joy-Con to get into the replacement and the springs and ribbons can be a pain. I would highly recommend a tutorial video before attempting repair.

Great replacement switch!
Fixed my mess up when putting controller components back together. Great value, works well so far.

A little shorter and stiff but works well!
This works perfectly! I broke the original trying to change the shell and ordered this, it came a little late but not a big deal. It is a tiny tiny bit shorter than the original but it still is ok. I read in someone else’s review, attach the ribbon cable and then screw it into the middle plastic part, works so much better! Don’t try to screw it in first and then plug in the ribbon cable, it’s impossible, especially since this one is a little shorter. The button is a little stiff but that’s most likely bc it’s bran new so I think it’ll loosen up once I start playing. An easy and cheap fix instead of buying a whole new joy con.

Acceptable oe replacement.
Good replacement. Accidentally squished the original when repairing older joycon. This one is a bit firmer and louder than original, but probably noticable only because original had about 247,754 miles on it. Would buy another should I dick one up again.

Harder to press
My ZR button was broken. The swtich that is activated by the ZR trigger inside the joycon had broken off. These switches are tiny and surprisingly fragile...don't be tossing your Joycons around all willy-nilly!I was able to install this button with little issue (working inside Joycons isn't fun because everything is so small, but this repair is still pretty doable with just a spudger, a triwing, and a 00 philips and the youtube tutorials out there are very good). The ribbon cable on this part is indeed shorter than than the Nindy original but it's really not an issue if you seat the ribbon cable into the ZIF connector first, then reinstall the battery tray, then screw down the replacement switch board...I was able to do all that in a couple of minutes.Where this replacement part is quite different from the original is the tac-switch is much, much stiffer and clickier. It is probably twice as hard to actuate as the original. This ends up feeling super weird when you are playing in TV mode, because in a game like Zelda, you are constantly using both ZL and ZR and it's really hard to get used to ZL clicking down easily while ZR requires actual concentration to press, since using the same force won't activate the switch. It's still possible to spam ZR if you think about how hard to you have to press, but this means undoing your muscle memory and it's hard to retrain your brain when ZL and ZR feel so different. In Mario Odyssey, were ZL and ZR do the same thing, it didn't matter. I only used the new ZR and ignored ZL so the different feel didn't impact my gameplay at all.But it does work and you can repair your broken trigger for $6. If you can get over the wonkiness of your trigger buttons feeling different from each other in terms of actuation force, this will get you gaming again. If it breaks in over time and equalizes with ZL I'll update the review.

Worst feel EVER.
I bought this to replace my original ZR Button Key Ribbon Flex Cable I broke while installing new transparent buttons on my joy-cons.Install is straight foreword if your good with tar-downs and clean ups, and this replacement ZR Button Ribbon Flex Cable fit perfectly like an original OEM one, but that where the positive points end. After assembly and testing the button inputs on my Switch, everything functions as one should expect. BUT, the act of pressing the replacement ZR Button is ABSOLUTELY terrible! Unlike an official ZR Button on a Switch that feels buttery smooth with succession on button presses, this replacement ZR Button Ribbon Flex Cable from this seller (Ximimark) is the complete opposite. With this replacement you have to press unreasonably hard just to hear the click (which is also incredibly loud), and your button pressing reflexes are severely hindered. This is VERY bad for alot of action games that require quick button pressing, like for example Breath of the Wild there are two ways defending against monster attacks; Dodging or Parrying, for parrying specifically you need to press the ZR button at the last second before the monster's attack makes contact in order to stun them to create an opening for a counter attack, and in a fight against any Guardian type Parrying timing IS A MUST.Do NOT buy this from Ximimark (or wahtever), you will NOT get a comfortable, and smooth feel when playing games with this replacement ZR Button Ribbon Flex Cable for your Nintendo Joy-Cons.

Works. With some user errors before
Put it in wrong tho which was the reason behind a bad review before. Make sure to put the ribbon cable in correctly. Works like a charm

Perfect replacement. Not nearly as "clicky"
This one is perfect. Not nearly as "clicky" as another 3rd party ribbon cable I purchased recently. Will be ordering another of these to replace that one. Five stars.

It Works
It works for what you need it to be. It does not feel like the original ZR button but you pay what you get, amiright.I found the strips to be a little more stiff and the button portion is quite stiff. Don't expect it's quality to be on par with the original switches but it does its job.
