Eyepatch iPhone 5/5s/SE (1st gen 2018 Case - Cleans Camera Lens and Covers Your Camera for Privacy (Black)

I'm giving it five stars because it's a fabulous idea and no one else is doing it. This case keeps my camera lens from getting scratched, and it's convenient and easy to switch the lens open and closed. I wish they had followed up this idea and made it for new phones and made a better case. The downside is that it's a soft rubbery stretchy case that neither feels good, or seems like it'll last...many modern cases are far better, but simply don't have the camera protection. Hopefully Eyepatch will up their game - but for now, I'm using it anyway.

I thought this was pretty great and one of the better cell phone cases I’ve ever bought. The case is a nice soft rubber material but it definitely “sticks” to a surface and won’t slide. It’s almost a pleasure to hold in my hand as to how soft it is. The bad: the privacy cover on the camera camera needs to have a notch so as to use the flashlight option on the phone. Hope the makers of this are able to make for other models of phones. Terrific for Iphone SE!UPDATE: 1 year later, it's still holding up pretty well, except for a minor tear at the bottom! Love this case--it gets comments, and I don't understand the bad reviews for this product.

I have had eyepatch cases for other iPhones and loved them, but this one definitely does not live up to the quality I came to expect. The case seems too large for the SE, so it feels like wearing Daddy's shoes, if you know what I mean. The phone slides back and forth in the case, so the slide cover doesn't work properly for the cameras. It is always covering up the light sensor, since it slides down out of place, so my screen is always dim. Maybe it fits the 5 and 5s better, but I wouldn't recommend it for the SE. It also feels a lot flimsier than the other eyepatch cases I have had.

I really loved the concept and idea. The eye patch itself, fit perfectly but the case that goes on the phone is thin and flimsy. The rubber started falling apart within a couple months. I want to buy a new one but it’s not worth it considering the price. I would not recommend getting this case if you drop your phone a lot.

I love the idea of an analogue camera patch, and exactly that part works great. But the case material is a way to soft rubber with a very loose fit on the phone, which makes it a very bad phone case.

I would buy this a hundred times. I am always paranoid of hackers and it puts my mind at ease knowing they can't peep me. It also keeps me from accidentally opening the front camera and catching that unflattering angle we all love to hate. The case does its job protecting my phone although it can pick up debris and dust at times.

Five stars because I like the product concept. I am using it, and it works well; however, there was no hole for flashlight. I'm handy, so I drilled it myself. Most will be disappointed that the product doesn't arrive fully functional..

I bought this case mainly for the camera covers, which work great. But I also like the rubber case for two reasons. It makes my iPhone SE more grip-able (less slippery). And believe it or not, the rubber buttons are easier to press than the iPhone buttons. The only down side is that the elegant beauty of the iPhone SE is now covered up.

Bit overpriced for what it is. Case a bit flimsy around the edges and plastic shutter a bit cheap looking but does the job.
