Harley-Davidson Women's Raegan Work Boot

I'm giving these boots 4 stars for now because I haven't had a chance to wear them all day but so far, they're very comfortable. I ordered size 8, normally wear 7-7.5 but I wanted room to wear them with heavy socks. The size 8 is perfect with the socks - not too tight, but not so loose that they flop around on my feet. These boots are much lighter than the boots they're replacing - Milwaukee harness boots - so hopefully they'll be less tiring on my feet for all day wear than the Milwaukees. That said, the Milwaukees have lasted for 10 years; the HD boots seem sturdy and fairly well made, but they aren't anywhere near as heavy duty as the Milwaukees. To be fair, though, the description for the HD boots calls them "work boots" (if I remember right) not motorcycle boots, so that may be why they're not as sturdy as the Milwaukees. The leather is kind of a matte finish (not shiny) and the boot is lined with a fleece-type material, which is soft and should be warm.If you intend to wear these to ride a motorcycle, I found that the toe of the boot is "tall" so when I shift, I have to kind of tip my foot out and down to get it under the shifter. Also, the tread on the boot has a horizontal rib pattern that has a tendency to catch in the ridges on my brake pedal. Not a deal breaker, just takes a little getting used to.All in all, I think these are great boots for the $, even if they don't last for 10 years like the Milwaukees. If you do plan to wear them with heavy socks, I would definitely size up at least a half size.

I have been looking for ALL leather boots for at least a year now! I have found my boots!!!!! These are great. They fit as a size 10 should fit. I measured the largest area of my calf as other reviewers have said the calf was too big or too small. My calf measured 15 inches and I put my jeans inside the boot and it is a little snug but DEFINETLY won't be once they are broke in. The heel height is perfect, the zipper is durable, the height is great for colder riding, the buckles look amazing, the toe room is enough (my big toe, curves up a little bit) and still have ample room! I didn't want a pointy toe like a cowboy boot but not flat against foot either so this is a great mixture of the two.There was a reviewer that bought these for his wife and she loved them, that sat well with me. Se had bought tons of other boots and they were not leather, uncomfortable etc.The picture of these I truly wasn't 100% sold but thought I would give them a try because it was free shipping and returns!! Nothing to loose! I can't wait to wear these boots for riding and regular wear!!!Good luck with your search but I'm happy to say mine is over!!!

After years of me buying my wife boots she picked out, I decided to buy this pair for her. I have been wearing Harley boots myself for over 10 years now, and have amassed quite a collection. I find them to be sturdy, last a long time, and surprisingly comfortable.The first thing my wife noticed was how solid they are. All her other tall boots are made from thin leather that folds over. These stand straight up right, and give her ankle better support. She also remarked how much more comfortable they feel than some of her other tall boots.One of her favorite things about them is the inside zipper. She simply can not get her feet into boots that pull completely up. Having the zipper on the side allows her to easily pop them on and off, and I don't have to go get a crowbar at night and surgically remove them.I think they look great, and I personally think they are a much better make than all the crap I've bought her at department stores in the past 5 years.

I chose a 4 for now because I've only worn these boots once so far. The true test for we will be how comfortable and durable they are when I ride my Harley long distance. No, I didn't buy them as a fashion boot but rather a working riding boot. I'm skeptical of the traction of the sole. I expect these boots, once treated, will repel the rain and due to the single leather piece front, I expect there to be no wind chilling my legs. I'll keep you updated.So far there is nothing I dislike about them and I would recommend them to my friends but I have to reserve my recommendation until I've had the chance to test them out on the road.

I have been looking for a pair of practical, knee high riding boots, and this pair fit the criteria. I wore them for 10 hours as soon as I received them -- comfortable, and very stylish. I can wear them under my chaps, and the heel is the right height for anchoring my feet on the pegs. They help to dissipate the vibration I usually experience when riding as a passenger. I have average size calves, and am able to easily zip up the boots with my straight leg jeans tucked in. I really dislike having to wear knee-high socks (cut off my circulation), and I am able to wear anklets which is a bonus for me! Size-wise they run about 1/2 size small. I usually wear a 9.5 and I bought a size 9, and they fit perfectly. If you are looking for a comfortable, really nice looking boot for riding or just to wear, this is the perfect boot for either occasion.

I have a lot of boots. A lot of boots. I have been wearing these almost everyday since I bought them. They are true to my size and so comfortable. I like that the calves aren't too big like a lot of boots, yet I can still tuck in pants or leggings. I'd say I have average calf size. These boots are stylish and comfortable enough to wear all day around town, and sturdy / durable enough to ride in. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. After wearing these around for the last month, I bought another pair of Harley Davidson boots, a shorter version, and they are also true to size. Both such good values for the price. Buckles are hard core cool. HD didn't cut corners making these. (Part of me wants to buy and hoard another identical pair for the day these wear out...)
