Not a bank vault, but a perfect case at a more than perfect price.
I bought this case to carry my keep my new Cougar in. When I go to the range, I carry this in my range bag. It's significantly better than the price indicated it might be. The plastic is heavier enough to last although I have no illusions about it taking the kind of abuse the MUCH more expensive gun cases are designed to take. My gun is well protected, certainly much better than the cardboard carton it came in, and for the money, I don't think this item is better from anywhere else. Shipping was lightning quick and it's perfect for my purposes.

It is grey not olive drab green like it should be only has a single lock hole you can open one side while its locked and pull a pistol right out not the plano quality I expected

A Modified Tackle Box
A lightweight case because of the thin construction material used; thus, the top cover flexes some and is not hinged very tight. The security tab is a bit awkwardly placed between the handle and case which can make it a little difficult to access with some locks. However, for most activities and moderately priced firearms that do not get a lot of baggage movement or heavy handling, this case will serve the average range-shooter well for a very reasonable price. The insulation is adequately dense and tight with enough room for a spare magazine or two. Just make sure you get the proper size to fit the desired firearm(s).

i got this for my grandson i gave him my sw 9 mm and this was great for it and he locks the case with a lock and cable to stop it being opened by a nosey person,,

Great case to transport ONLY
Total cost with shipping was $15. The egg crate foam provides excellent protection. Holds my one inch wide M&P Shield and two magazines. I usecase to transport my pistol to the range. This case has two clasp latches but only one locking point ! The gun can be removed from a locked caseby simply unlatching the clasp.The sides of the case flex when not latched. To secure you gun safely at home a Flambeau or metal case would be better. You should also use a trigger or cable lock on your gun to safely store any firearm not stored in a safe.
