JEWELLERS Buffing Rouge Polishing Compound precious metal polishing, BROWN, GREEN, BLUE, WHITE, RED (Brown)

My use is to impregnate a leather strop for polishing a knife edge. My final stone is a 2000 grit ceramic, so this is just a final buff and polish with a leather strop. The leather would probably be enough but this smooths it out.Anyway, it works for my use. It coated the leather and that's all I need it for.

I bought the blue and green compounds to remove scratches on my two Breitling stainless steel watches. I was a bit nervous at first, as these watches are quite expensive. But the result is amazing. After polishing using the compound (with a Dremel), both watches sparkle like nearly new. Delivery was prompt, and the compound lasts well. After polishing both watches I've only used about 5% of each bar.

I have used the product with a leather strop and although it sharpens it underperformed in my opinion, I expected a razor sharp hair shaving edge but did not get anywhere close to that ...not bad for the money though

Bought to repair scratched silver pot. Got a nice mirror effect, but the scratches were a bit to deep to disappear completely. I was chuffed that managed to do the work by hand without any electrical device.

Bought it for a strop that I use with a very expensive Nakiri knife, put a great final polished edge after using an 8000 grit stone. Very happy.

Good product, rouge works fine & nice mirror finish. Will buy again.
