This book inspires creativity! Great for all ages, all levels it provides ideas for creating art beginning in unusual ways. It shows the reader how to find opportunities to make art anywhere and everywhere. These art experiences can be used with various media. They are quick and easy [and fun!] activities which can be built upon for more depth if you choose to take it further. This book encourages spontaneous artistic experimentation.

i love this book. maybe my 6-year-old would appreciate it more in another couple of years - to her it is just a coloring book.

Very fun! Great quality!

A well constructed book with fairly thick paper (although you can just see through the pages). It is hard-backed with a fancy plastic 3D effect front cover. There are about 100 pages, all of which have a prompt in the form of words or pictures. There are also full pages of pattern/colour.In the bottom right hand corner of the cover in VERY small print, it says that this is a MoMA modern book for Kids. There is no reason why an adult should not use it if they wish but it is aimed at children so if you're looking for a spring-board of ideas for a more sophisticated, grown-up art journal this is probably not the one.I am glad I bought a "used" version because I would have felt rather cheated had I paid full price for it. It was not obvious that it is a book aimed at children's art development, for which it may be very enjoyable and inspiring. My used version had had very little use, in pencil only, and I can erase those marks. I will probably use the book's fully printed pages as pieces for my own collage work but on the whole I am disappointed.

Great book! My 4 year old loved this - you can dip in and out when you want and when u finish you can reuse the activities in your own scrap books/paper.

Didn't use the sketchbook yet, on the first glance it's interesting and really inspiring.The only BUT is the book condition. Be careful buying used books! This one was marked "Very Good" and "The cover may have some limited signs of wear but the pages are clean, intact...". The book was obviously used! The drawings were erased, still all the lines are pretty visible. That was a disappointment. Gladly only first several pages were used and the sketchbook is still usable.My 13 yo asked me for one for himself, I think I'll buy new one this time.

Para mí se ha convertido en un libro imprescindible para trabajar con mis alumnos, ya que trabaja la idea tan repetida de: yo no sé hacerlo, no sé dibujar... Y con un precio increíble. Me ha encantado.
