Shield of the Emperor (Warhammer 40,000)

I have little interest in the astra militarum in the 40k universe. This managed to hold my interest nicely though with interesting characters and stories. Some very depressing and very sad reading though, even so far as 40k can go. If you're sensitive and caring like me, then this will produce sad feelings and nightmares though. Tread carefully.
