CASED One - Medium Checked Hard Side Luggage (26")

I received my Cased Luggage today and love it ! They have useful features I have not seen in other luggage. I travel a LOT -- domestic and abroad, and I have never spent a lot of money on luggage because it gets banged up, but one of the wheels on my Travelers Choice hardside suitcase got jambed and was thus useless, and so I was looking for a new one. When I saw how the large cases have two openings for easier access to contents, and that the face of the carry-on has a compartment for computer, and other things that you want to be handy, I was sold. I just wish that they had a better choice of colors. I refuse to buy another black suitcase that gets lost in the sea of black luggage on the baggage ramp, and the white is so impractical. The blue, which I bought, is a pretty color, but is quite bold and more of a color for a teenager than a professional adult. but at least I will be able to pick my luggage out of the crowd. The reason I gave only 4 stars is the lock. A built-in lock was on my list of must-haves when luggage shopping. I am so tired of buying TSA locks just to have the TSA inspectors forget to replace them so my luggage ends up traveling unlocked. I was happy to see that the CASED bags have a built-in lock but it didn't even occur to me to check if it was a combination lock. I mean, who uses key locks for luggage anymore? Now, if I want to use the built-in lock I have to carry a tiny key around with me and make sure that I don't lose it and that it is handy whenever I need it. Or I can just keep buying TSA combo locks. But now I am worried that if I choose not to use the key lock and then leave the key at home, but then the TSA inspector checks my bag, closes it up and absent-mindedly locks it with their key (it is a TSA lock) and then I am far from home without a key to get into my luggage. Ugh!Advice for the sellers of CASED luggage here on Amazon: you include a couple of photos of the luggage, but none of them show the special features that make these bags different from others. I saw the 5-star rating and read all rave reviews and was curious about what made these bags to great and so did some web browsing and found the Kickstarter website which has a video and lots of pictures highlighting the great features. I probably would not have splurged here if I hadn't found that website with more information.

I love the cases - very well made, hard cases, easy rolling wheels. Although, the smallest case has a shaky handle.Unfortunately, I was on a long international trip and on the second leg of it, the biggest case was cracked. The content was protected no matter what, so I consider the case to delivery the service it was designed for. However, I didn't expect a polycarbonate case to crack so easily (after all, it isn't ABS plastic).And now the best part: the seller stood behind their reputation and helped me to resolve the issue in under 3 days. Very quickly! I am very grateful, and am looking to have the business with such upstanding fellas in the future!

It's first bad review... oh no!! Wanted to love this set. It is my first hardside luggage set so I reviewed a lot of luggage. Went with this one for the reviews, the color, the laptop carryon and the personalized message of the purpose the luggage creation on the Kickstarter site.Pros: It is gorgeous, rolled easily, is easy to spot and (the only piece I used) went through 2 trips with barely a scratch (in white!).Cons: The zipper is not smooth to zip, it's not as roomy as I thought (I fit more in my rolling duffel than in the large case) and the midsize case zipper would not stay closed (not overstuffed) even with expansion option used on the 1st attempted use (had to revert to rolling duffel).To be fair, maybe I just had a bad midsize case. However, for the price, I expect perfection, or at least a lot of use without failure. I never used the laptop carryone to provide feedback. I am attempting to return the set. Bummer!! On to more luggage reviews...

I had purchased the carryon version of this nearly a year and a half ago - and had been happy with it - so I decided to make it a matching set.1. the very first time I packed the bag - on the interior panel - the seam split in the pocket. I emailed the company - and they said, "This looks like the 22" carry on, correct? Purchased in 2016?" accusing me of showing them an image of my carryon. When I sent them the one showing it was the new 26" one - I never heard back.2. On the SECOND trip I just used this on - The tabs on the zipper that go into the locking device literally snapped off. Once broken - they look almost to be plastic. So I now cannot lock my luggage.3. Also on the second trip - the Zipper tape is now cut on the top pocket. When I go to open or close the top pocket it gets caught - and I am just waiting for it to shred further or pop open. Needless to say - after using it twice I can no longer use this piece of luggage. Unacceptable.

The zipper broke after only a few uses

Love this luggage. I took the carry on with me on a couple of business trip and checked it in. It came back as new and everyone knows how the airline abuses the luggage. I had some minor issues with the luggage and customer services responded immediately but it's so minor that I did not take any action. Excellent luggage and customer service. I am glad I purchased this luggage. I saw this luggage on other site and it's much more expensive then Amazon.

Really like the luggage, feel I got a steal for the price! I like the design; look great, roll easily, and smart design. The separate pocket with laptop sleeve in the carry on is great for my business travel but is also removable when I want the space.Recently had some damage from handling that the airline wouldn't take responsibility for. Contacted the company and had a new bag sent out the same day! Fastest and easiest warranty I've ever dealt with.

It was a little less roomy than I anticipated. My laptop was a little snug in the front in it's protector case. However, it worked! I love how sleek it looks and the mobility of the wheels is great.
