My wife purchased me one from the big box blue & yellow electronics giant. I'm pretty happy with it.It has buttons that let you calibrate it, so that it stays relatively stable. I was able to get it properly calibrated in one flight cycle and still have a couple minutes left before the battery died. Yes, the battery really does last about 6-8 minutes. You just need to clip off some of the useless inner sections of the bumpers to overcome the additional weight of those batteries. Those are 850mah batteries - the one it comes with is only 200mah. All in all, I think this was a good value for thirty. Good entry level copter, and I don't have to commit to a more expensive 75-100 dollar one while I'm learning.Last but not least, if you're going to buy this, realize that the plug dangling out to charge the copter needs to be plugged into a terminal on it when you're done charging. It's not *just* a charging wire! I didn't at first, and spend a lot of time angry at my "broken" toy. Whoops!

Not really an indoor drone. Can get cheaper elsewhere. I was able to get controlled flight in a park when the winds died out with some practice but not indoors. Build quality is good. Charging time is excessive, over 30 minutes. Makes sense if you have other toys to operate during the recharge. Nice transmitter range.
