B**N
A decent (but not great) first model for the beginner model builder.
I didn't buy this product from Amazon.com but I ordered the model from Wal-Mart.com. I've always had an interest in big passenger liners and cruise ships, etc. Ever since I watch James Cameron's Titanic I always wanted to own my own Titanic model ship. This was what I thought would be for me to work on. Now, I'm not knocking around this model. It's a good first model for anyone looking to start a collection of model ships but, I have to say the plastic model doesn't go very well together. This is a snap together model. By that I mean the two hull pieces don't snap flush to one another. There is a small gap in between the stern where the two hulls go together. I wish I was as smart about things years ago when I was working on this model. In order for you to build a good quality ship you will have to modify the plastic pieces quite a bit by sanding the edges of the hull so they will go together good and flush. If you're an expert model builder, you might want to order photo etch for the model, especially if you want the model to have realistic railing and such.
