I wanted a full HD monitor for my laptop so I could have a dual-screen setup when working from home. I had to use my own funds however, and I had limited desktop space.This monitor not only fits my desk perfectly along with my laptop (also a 15.6" display), it is light, easy to adjust, and sharp.The IPS display is decent - not the best but certainly good for what it is. I would say 1080P is about the max resolution I could handle on a display this size so it works great. The bezel is chunky (I wasn't going for a "sexy" thin bezel) and the plastic case is light but still feels reasonably rigid. It's a breeze to transport from room to room.The resolution is just about right for my daily tasks of programming and database administration - the tools don't feel "crunched" at 1080P as they have room for the multiple panels of information they present.All in all, I'm pleased given what I paid for it.

I am using this monitor for my Raspberry Pi.The picture quality is very good.Sound quality is decent but not music-quality. However I did not buy this monitor for music playback.I power the Raspberry Pi using the monitor's USB port. So only one AC adapter is needed for monitor/Pi.The stand is very simple and very practical. It enables the monitor to be tilted at any angle. This is extremely important as we all have different preferences for monitor angle.For me the stand was very important. I examined many monitors on Amazon but none had the flexibility of this monitor's stand.I also bought SAIJI Adjustable Laptop Stand for Bed and am using the monitor/Pi on it. So I can use my Pi in reclining position on my living room rug.I highly recommend this monitor !!!

NOTE: I wrote a review of the Basense Portable Monitor (which is terrific). I have never purchased the camera at this link, and don't know how or why my review ended up here.Purchased for business use -- we plan to use this for teleprompter on shoots, and for acting classes. Arrived on time, worked immediately. Plugged in and it immediately displayed HDMI from the Sony HD video camera; switched input to HDMI 2 and it quickly adapted to display the laptop screen. Sound volume was excellent, sound quality very good for the size of the speakers. The ONLY minus (I hesitate to mention) is the lack of detailed documentation about navigating onscreen menus. (However, the assigned buttons for volume, etc. are fine and at some point we may delve into the menus.) This monitor was definitely worth the investment.
